@@charliecrook9555 dash master is actually a requirement because you have to dash twice without losing any altitude underneath the wall in that last skip. The big change is getting soul twister which allows for 4 VS’s instead of 3, which makes the last two skips so much easier

This could be a viable route for speedruns… Monarch wings + isma will not only save time on getting C-dash, but it also allows you to skip the Herra trap-bench.
Pogo the spikes in the big room until you reach the end, die, pogo back over and Vengeful Spirit your Shade, then do the Shade bounce thing onto the platform I think
This might sound crazy but I just got to here in my game a different back way, I came in from the ceiling from that random room in Royal Waterways. I hadn’t beat Defender and didn’t have Monarch Wings. Don’t know if this is any help to anyone tho haha

No, it's not. The problem is because you can't get wings without having one nail upgrade, and the main route doesn't ever go to the left side of City. It's quite a big time waste.
@@haodzz well, with stall ball, the nail upgrade isnt even required, though stall ball is difficult, it still gives the route potential by removing a nail upgrade and charm requirement
It's possible to get it without crystal dash, just extremely tough, I'm not completely sure but it's also possible they modded the game or something for the purpose of the video to get double jump. Hope this helped you :D

i thought volt twister/vessel container was required for that skip, that’s insane
iirc specifically soul twister is needed; a vessel container doesn't fill up your soul bar fast enough to use 4 spells

It's possible to get it without crystal dash, just extremely tough, I'm not completely sure but it's also possible they modded the game or something for the purpose of the video to get double jump. Hope this helped you :D
