This off-brand to an R2 Power tip is one of the BEST mods that i ever done to my Yamaha Grizzly 660! I bought it on Ebay (made in USA).

hey Michael, other than sound and looks, do you notice any difference in throttle? I think these things are just a gimmick. I have the same bike and thus the reason for asking as I have been considering purchasing one for a while but I don't want to make the bike too loud, it's not the quietest now, I can deal with a deeper tone but don't want drone.
It seems like it has improved it. like with any exhaust if you can make the motor breathe better, you get better performance.
The sound while idling is great,but it gets louder as you give it more throttle. In my opinion it’s like getting aftermarket mufflers/glass packs for your car.😎

Well just as I expected, Xaxia doesn’t offer that tip any longer,
BUT there are several others just like it on eBay. I saw one from a company called krator that looks exactly like mine on eBay. Go search for grizzly exhaust tips and find you one that fits your Year and model atv.

How u put the Spark arrestor back on?
The spark arrestor has a few tack welds that I had to grind off of the original oem exhaust tip, as long as you just grind or even drill out this tack welds from the original tip, you can set it up against the muffler. It should stay in place with the spark screen cone going inside the muffler and flange up against the outside to keep it from falling inside the muffler.
After that you Should be able to install your aftermarket tip.
If you check my playlist: Atv Yamaha Grizzly, I have a video (actually my very first video) called Atv Yamaha Grizzly 660 power tip exhaust mod, and there you’ll see where I grinded off the spark arrestor from the original exhaust tip.
Due to different makes and models, your set-up may differ and may require other modifications.

Michael Ed gotcha thank you man, do you still have the Grizzly 660? My dad has the same Grizzly 660 (black color) He Loves It! I’m just trying this tip out cuz the stock Exhaust sounds bad 😂 next year probably gonna buy a HMF Exhaust🔥 - I subscribed 💯
Yes, I do still have it! I did a video about 4 months ago. I took the Grizz out for a rip and got some air! lol
You shouldn’t have have any issues doing this mod to your dads quad. From what I saw, Oregon looks like a great place to ride.👍
