Oh no way, I know that little pink fella on the left! I made that for blenderkit, pretty awesome to randomly stumble upon someone actually using it! Great vid btw, one of the rare ones that are actually properly showcasing the difference between eevee next and cycles
haha! Internet is a small place it seems! Awesome model, I enjoyed working with it. Super detailed! It is very easy to spot the models made by a skilled person who has patience! Great work! Thank you for the nice comment!
Funny, I was just admiring how absolutely perfect the Furby model looked, and then I read your comment. Great work on the model, it truly looks perfect!
The biggest notable difference for me is the eyes in the pink furby, with Cycles clearly tracing multiple bounces through glass layers, but I think that can be fixed in the material settings, under surface. Turn on Raytraced Transmission and set the Render Method to Dithered as a starting point. Turning on Transparent Shadows and From Shadow and setting the Thickness to Sphere may help with more accurately calculating the refractive thickness of the eyes as well.
EEVEE gets shockingly close! Would be interesting to see the comparison with baked lighting added, to take into account lighting not present in frame (the ray tracing in EEVEE is performed in screen space)
I think you could optimise it more for eevee by making new materials for the fur, volumes. As they render differently they need different materials aswell. But yeah it's much more realistic now and has alot of potential. The competition isnt cycles though, it is lumen and redshift
I agree about the materials. But the test's point was not to touch anything and see what happens. Since many people will maybe want to try and render their old projects they initially wanted to render in Cycles. I myself have such projects that were far too optimistic and I never ended up rendering them because a single frame would render for 10 minutes. Also, Cycles for me in this case is a direct competition because I don't use Lumen really.
'really impressive and a good vid' (is Eevee Next Ray tracing only Screen Space? If so this scene wouldn't show such a difference - it would be interesting to see a comparison on a well lit scene with various shiny/reflective objects as well)
If you're working with very complex and large scenes, I think you should probably pick RTX3060 with 12GB of VRAM. Mine serves me really good, never let me down. RTX4060 is generally more powerfull and efficient, and is the way to go if you're not rendering very big environments etc.

The amount of time you save for rendering animation is insane. EEVEE is a beast now
Yup, such a huge update!
WOWWW the light limit tips was so cool !!! Realy nice work !!
Glad you liked it!
Nice 3D work, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
nice! THICKNESS is for optimization of transparency like Glass.
EEVEE - Power 💪
Did u model this Nintendo? I loved this. Can u make a video about how to put dust at the top of things like these one? Thank you!

I made full 4k product visualization renders of Nothing CMF phone 1 with EEVEE, I am loving it... Can't thank you enough for this 🙏🏼
Thank you!
Spits out coffee at 2:53!
Nice scene!
Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely incredible, but still, you can't replace pathtracers with it.
2x 5090 will solve all our problems.
True! I will continue using Cycles for statics. But it is really tempting to go with new EEVEE for animations! :)
But will 2x 5090 solve or worsen our financial problems?

this is indeed pretty good, but the "screen space" thingy is quite a turn off, especially for animation. I hope they will crack that open someday...

Witch one do you think is better for blender rtx3060 12gb or rtx 4060 8gb

Hey, what Color space did u use ?
I used sRGB with AGX
4 minutes for Eevee ? might as well use Cycles lol.
Everything is good...but bro u talk too much...i felt bored
Maybe you should try TikTok if you want to be entertained.
@bojansolar nah man..thing you u stutter a lot...all i want you to be better for us....i aint beefing with ya..i am suggesting as a viewer of your man
@@bojansolar hehehehe
