He was able to block but got chipped out since he had a sliver of health left. Could’ve survived if he buffered a counter super out of spin but likely just wasn’t expecting to die like that.
Pretty much what Gooey said. Spin leaves you at +0 so you can block or throw right afterwards, but if they are in the middle of a super (many of which are throw immune), the only thing you can do is block or do a counter that's active on frame 1. Spin is active on frame 10, so it's generally a hard read and one of many reasons Anji is considered low tier.
Was NOT expecting a tie. Good gameplay on both sides.
