@@AizenSousuke92 the classic hated macbook pro with m1 pro chip and 14 inches. Dont misunderstand me, i just liked the long battery and lightweight chassis. But i still keep my lenovo at home, using it connected to a ultrawide monitor as a whole PC, and not gonna lie works really nicely

I got the pro 7i a couple months ago. I’ve got a 4090 desktop at my work for 3D rendering and the laptop is definitely not as good but dang it’s pretty impressive. No complaints on the hardware or fan noise. I did have a month where I couldn’t use it because I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t performing as good, but I just reset all the over clock settings in the bios and now it’s back to normal. So I wouldn’t recommend any over clock settings, even in the Lenovo software but other than that I’m super happy with it
I would probably go for the Legion Pro 7¡ after viewing your video, thanks, looking so good by the way, as usual. I know that the laptops might be a little uncomfortable on the lap, but I think a coffee table and or flat surface would do to get some work done on a go, they are more like a mini workstation slowly catching up to the power of an actual desktop computer, but again like I said a laptop workstation on the go. Excellent testing and I can only imagine how much faster the laptops are going to be when the Laptops are enhanced with the AI chips? 🥰👩💻⭐️💎💃

The legion 7i is the best looking laptop at its price range, while also being fairly portable. Lenovo have done an amazing job with the 7i, but I hope they include all AMD variants in the future. Importantly, other gaming laptop manufacturers must take notice! No other gaming laptop comes with the balanced feature set present in Legion laptops, and they skimp out on some nice to have features such as fingerprint scanner, thinner design and cheaper materials, which is one of the reasons why gaming laptops in general are not popular with college students and professionals. And I hope lenovo doesnt cut out features in future models like they did with the legion pro 7i, just to upsell legion 9i
my dads mate works with macs and got sent the pro for free and he gave it to my dad because the motherboard was dead or smth so if I spend around 600-800 bucks I can basically function a AUD $4k laptop for a fraction of the price
What always annoys me is when brands go through the trouble of making a gaming laptop thin and otherwise fairly incognito, then they slap a giant logo on it advertising that it’s a gaming laptop. WHY do they have to have that giant legion logo on the back? Great laptops, but come on Lenovo.
the legion 7i seems like a laptop meant to actually take with you and the pro is meant as a desktop replacement. If the 7i has an amd variant i will definitely consider it.
I'm happy the laptops power down alittle when unplugged, im never doing things with my laptop on the go that needs max power. When im at home, the laptop is always plugged in.
I doesn't like the way this design. Lenovo move from back to others side. I love how good of back port. It is absolute extra convenient and hidden messy my desk as well.
Ella’s videos have become so polished they look like a corporate training video. I miss the reviews she did from her bedroom, those were really enjoying to watch and not cookie-cutter as this.
I got the Gen 8 Slim 7i, maxed out 32 GB RAM and added another 4 TB SSD, it is still performing well and I have although the Slim 5 14" OLED /w 32 GB RAM and same, added 4 TB SSD. The 7i stays mostly at home and the 5 accompanies me because the AMD Ryzen 7 is much more power efficient. Both are my beautyful dayly drivers. Greetings and best wishes from Germany 🖐🏻
I appreciate that you mentioned the cons of both laptops although this is a "sponsored" video. I feel like the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i can be a better all-round option for a 4070 because it has a better screen and speakers, and is much more portable: it is smaller, lighter, and has a much longer battery life. It has a less powerful CPU and lacks RGB lighting, but the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.
Ips I don't know what people have with this OLED, it's so shiny that you can't use it, if it was a matte OLED it would still work, but I'd like to thank you for the glowing screen
I like Lenovo equipment and I'm typing this on a Lenovo desktop, but I just cannot stomach bulky, hot, noisy laptops. And no, I'm not an Apple fanboy, I very much prefer using Windows and my current portable machine is a Huawei Matebook with an AMD APU, which is a nice enough machine for light office/development work on the go. But the wish to properly use DaVinci Resolve Studio while I'm traveling could push me to buy one of those Apple machines - it seems Apple is still the only vendor that produces light notebooks that still have sufficient power for video editing without producing a jet-engine noise level.

These laptops still looks like toys, if someone carry these around I would think they look childish. Crazy, but the only gaming laptop that look good in all situation is the Razer Blade Mercury color. We need more simplistic and professional looking designs like that one.

honestly no cap i think a legion yoga pro 9i is better than these laptops and you can get 32gb of memory and a better 16 inch mini led display for 1650 so maybe you saved like 350 for something that's heavier with a worse display

This laptop is a monster compared to my Samsung Galaxy Book...
Galaxy book is thin and light laptop while legion is gaming laptop!
