aye, i got the same problem with my house about the floors, ive started to do this and it works, vacuum instead of sweep, then sprinkle baking soda down on the floors, mix hot water, vinegar, and a little dishsoap and mop the floors with it, then mop again with just water and either wait for it to dry or dry it urself. works like a charm
