I'm around the same strength level (1950-ish) and just trying to make the final push through just like you, so it's very engaging to watch :) And I appreciate you 'unfilteredness' at times, but I have to say that playing the clock is a valid strategy, whether you like it or not, it is. It's completely within the rules and a flag is flag. There is no excuse, you just have to fasten up your game then imo. But I admire the fashion in which you want to play and conclude your games which is way more entertaining and excting than just playing the clock, so I get ur frustrations. Keep on grinding man!
Yeah all true. I turn into a baby when I lose on time lol I’d much rather get beaten resoundingly through a good attack. Sometimes I take too much time to make moves when I’m already super winning. I don’t have to play perfectly, just keep the advantage up and covert. My opponent fully lost two bishops and I still couldn’t win. That is just so bad haha. Going to try and improve in my converting skills and time management. Thanks for watching!
you are a very good player, good understanding of the openings you play, very good middle game tactics. Instead of complaining game after game about how you know you're going to lose in the endgame because your endgame skill is not good. do something about it!!!! perhaps take several months off and brush up on your endgame, get some coaching. you will be able to reach and surpass the 2000 rating goal without any problems........ what is Albert Einstein definition of crazy?
I counted about 30 seconds of completely wasted time in that first game. Checking your opponents profile +10 and looking through potential moves from earlier in the game +20.
