When i was like 12 i was running the sprinting distances in the track and field competitions. I almost every time came in the middle, and was only improving very slow. Still I had a dream that was capable of winning the Swedish Championships when I was older. The indoor season when I was 14 it came a new sort of championship and I really wanted to go to it, but it was really tough qualification times. I started to train with the older guys and with a new coach. Every damn training i was working hard to achieve something in track and field. After a year my coach told me he believed i was capable of breaking the time for the 1000m indoors. After one month i made it. It didn´t go that well at the champs, but I was proud. The summer season same year i made the qualification again on the 800m. In the middle of the summer I switched coach again, to a running coach. After 12 weeks with him it was the champs. I had worked a bit more focused on the running and i made a super race and just took the sixth place and got a medal. It was such a performance, what a growth. The Indoor this years didn´t go well, but i came back this summer. This summer it was the Swedish Youth Championships and I came seventh. Now my dream to win the whole Swedish Championships is near, and i´m going to achieve it.

I know some people dont wanna read this but I will be happy to know if someone read this. Im 15 years old, my dad was dieing when I was 13. My dad and mom were divorced and i came to another part of the country just to visit my dad in hospital before he dies. He said to nurse he wants to talk to me. So I came in. He took my hand and let the tears flow down his eyes and said: Son, I wont live any longer, but promise me that you will make something out of your life, and do the things I told you. He was soldier and he was dieing from tetanus becouse he took bullet into his stomach. He said I dont need to go to army when I grow up. He just said he would be proud of me if I just do something in my life what I can feed my family with. I said my dad that I rpomise I will do that then he took my head and kissed me in forehead. 2 hours later he died. This motivating video just inspired me to not quit from what Im doing.

Rashana Davis yeah i loved playing football and i love watching football and its just horrible when you get kicked to your knees, and then kicked to your stomach, and there is not too many things worse than when a team just keeps kicking from there on. but facing the giants was easily the best football movie ever made. these players lost almost all of their love toward actually winning football games, the coach couldn't get his wife pregnant, his own assistant coaches early on didn't have faith in him and the board even wanted to replace him. but he just kept praising god in victory and in defeat every game and he never lost his faith in what he was doing he just kept being persistent.and then he helped his player apologize to his dad, he got a new truck, he got his wife pregnant (which in this case is a remarkable thing), and he showed his players they were winners all along. sometimes we address a problem or issue from the wrong angles and this movie shows how a coach changed his angle just a bit and how much more of a difference it made. the movie was a great underdog story and like i said just easily the best football movie ever made. and if you weren't talking about the clip of brock kelly from facing the giants then i apologize and recommend the movie to everyone who reads this because you wont regret watching it.
Listen up. Born as a kid, I had asthma, and multiple back problems because of how big I am (6"5 freshman) and they said that I could never be an athlete. I would play outside with my friends as a kid and have to go inside after only a few minutes because my asthma limited me. When I was 10, I was sick of it so I decided it wouldn't stop me from doing shit anymore, so I practiced running over and over until asthma had no rule in my athleticism. Now I'm a right guard in basketball for varsity and a starting defensive end for varsity. I have scouts up my ass, and I'm a 4.0 GPA Student not too mention. Always remember that you can grow out of anything if you work hard enough.
Lord, that was as inspiring as it gets!!! Thank you from my heart, from my soul... I needed that so bad. No quitting, no stopping now, I'll just try to make the outcome my own!! Thank you, I truly appreciate n needed that!

When I was like 12 I had 0 athleticism, I was always picked last for basketball and it was my favorite sport I was always told I sucked or that I couldn't do it and would be a failure... I also didn't make the middle school team...then I practiced every single day the whole year and in 7th I didn't make it again and same with 8th but then I pushed myself to the absolute 💯 then I made the high school varsity team as a freshman. I'm now a sophomore and a top leading scorer In my whole county and up there In the whole state. ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE IF U BELIVE
+Sincewhen53 man. i read this and i wondered if this was my life. basketball has been my favorite sport but i had no athleticism and i didnt make 7th and 8th grade team. now i play aau and im grinding and im putting up big numbers in aau. all things are possible with hard work, determination, and god.

I totally LOVE what was stated: 0:55 -1:17 " There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people around me won't feel insecure...As we let our own light shine...We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others."

I was told by my own father at the age of 19 that I would not ever amount to anything, due to failing my last year of high school. That I was a waste of space, and I couldn't get my high school diploma. I proved him wrong by moving in with my grandma, aunt, and cousin and graduating high school from the same high school that he had graduated from two years later. I was thankful and blessed to have my grandma, aunt, and cousin in my life, and know that they cared and love me enough to take me in and give me the love, care, support, and guidance to encourage me to not give up against how my father made me feel and believe about myself. Thanks to their encouragement, love, and support I continued my education and was able to take a certified nurses aide course while I was in high school as well, and received my certified nurses aide certificate and started working in a nursing home assisting others with everyday living. It's amazing how God works things in our life's when we least expect it.
That was one of the most moving 8 minutes of my life. I'm in sales and it can get hard to trudge through objections, rejections, etc. but you have to keep going. You have to "negotiate with your body to find the strength" to keep going. It gets heavy at times when this is how I eat/live and my livelihood at stake, and this video just put me in the right mind set to get shit done. Thanks...

Thanks for making this video-You have helped me so much to belive in myself.
Everyone needs a coach like this in their life. We would all be champions.
I read it
thanks
From what i've read, your dad was a great man. Don't give up! Even though i gived up on my dream:D. But just ignore the last part ive said. :)
FillePetersson no need man, i learned how to live with it, but thanks for help
Its fake guys. On this other video he said he died from cardiac arrest from a "granade".
Watching this in 2020, a lot has happened this year but nothing will stop us, ever. I suppose this video is the godfather of all the motivational videos we watch today! This started it all! :)
Trust me man, when you start working out regularly and watch what you eat, you feel absolutely awesome! Just keep at it, at the start it's hard, but it gets easier and easier! I hope for the best!
I almost quit doing what I loved most, but thanks to this video I haven't given up yet. Thanks... I almost cried =''(
you keep going, do what you love, be who you want to be, the more you struggle the more you will appreciate it when you get it.
Colin Logue Thanks man and true the bigger the obstacle the more glory.
Mauriziobarenboim hi there. Just wanted to check on you. So did you achieve what you wanted and even if you didn't just remember you are worth it and don't look down on yourself. Failure is just a part of life but you just have to keep going man keep going...
Mauriziobarenboim same here
Where are you now
I could actually feel what he was going through it hurts, really it does but don't you ever quit, push yourself to the limit... don't quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks Rashana Davis, thank you
Captkt s you are most Welcome
Rashana Davis yeah i loved playing football and i love watching football and its just horrible when you get kicked to your knees, and then kicked to your stomach, and there is not too many things worse than when a team just keeps kicking from there on. but facing the giants was easily the best football movie ever made. these players lost almost all of their love toward actually winning football games, the coach couldn't get his wife pregnant, his own assistant coaches early on didn't have faith in him and the board even wanted to replace him. but he just kept praising god in victory and in defeat every game and he never lost his faith in what he was doing he just kept being persistent.and then he helped his player apologize to his dad, he got a new truck, he got his wife pregnant (which in this case is a remarkable thing), and he showed his players they were winners all along. sometimes we address a problem or issue from the wrong angles and this movie shows how a coach changed his angle just a bit and how much more of a difference it made. the movie was a great underdog story and like i said just easily the best football movie ever made. and if you weren't talking about the clip of brock kelly from facing the giants then i apologize and recommend the movie to everyone who reads this because you wont regret watching it.
your words are also motivational......
thank you!
There are angels out there encouraging others, like that coach. These people are not ordinary.
Keep going no matter what, inch by inch, YOU will get there....
unless the government is the thing in the way then you'll just be killed
evian hitman Fuck the government. If it's in correct morale to keep going, go on.
Which movie is this ?
@@UdayanChauhan the one called Life =)
Inch by inch life is a cynch. Yard by yard life is hard!

Love that scene from Rudy. Great inspiration there.
No such thing as a right guard in basketball.
I hear you. Born as a teen, I too had asthma. Now I'm a Speed Stick in track, and Old Spice of my school's cross country cooking team.
Great list. That scene from Facing the Giants is one of the most epic "You can do it" scenes in sports movies ive ever seen.
Lord, that was as inspiring as it gets!!! Thank you from my heart, from my soul... I needed that so bad. No quitting, no stopping now, I'll just try to make the outcome my own!! Thank you, I truly appreciate n needed that!
When this video came out, I was 18 distracted, with purpose, but hadn’t found my engine that would push me thru my vision. Today at 29, it changes. I will be back in 10 years. Victorious.
What's your name bud
+AlvaroMuto dannon
+Sincewhen53 man. i read this and i wondered if this was my life. basketball has been my favorite sport but i had no athleticism and i didnt make 7th and 8th grade team. now i play aau and im grinding and im putting up big numbers in aau. all things are possible with hard work, determination, and god.
+King James god has nothing to do with it... its all on you. there is no such thing as god.

In my many years on RUclips I have only posted a comment once. However, in this instance I could not resist. To the original creator of this video; we are kindred spirits. Thank you to the friend I have never met.
WOW!!!! I totally LOVE what was stated: 0:55 -1:17
" There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people around me won't feel insecure...As we let our own light shine...We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others."
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, YOU were NOT made to "fit in" to society, YOU were meant to STAND OUT !
So, BELIEVE in yourselves and live for today. May you have peace in

Motivation videos isn't just for jobs, it's for a lifestyle and for me I've been motivated to quit drinking. Hardest battle I've ever fought but so far 2 and half months sober and loving life. If I can do it then you can do it too! Just push yourself and your determination will reward you with things you couldn't possibly dream of!!!
I WILL become one of the best artist and pianist this world has ever seen
go for it :)

Our liberty automatically liberate others! LOVE IT
That was one of the most moving 8 minutes of my life.
Thanks...
ah, Facing the Giants...thanks for putting these clips together...fantastic to show my sons

Don't ever quit in something you are good at.
The coach Carter one. Our greatest power as humans is that we must believe in ourselves. And when we do, it gives the energy to others to do the same.
After watching that football scene at 5:46 I went outside and threw my car up in the a tree, and then threw the tree up in the roof.

To hear a GREAT motivational speech type in "The wisest man I ever knew was a third grade drop out."
Powerful motivation!
I wish we all had a coach that helps us not to quit. However, we are that coach, we determine to quite or not. Be a great coach not only to others but yourself too!
