this router works great as a wireless transmitter but its wired portion is lousy. If you connect an ethernet cable to it , it would only partially allow internet use , only google services for some reason( could be that I am using the goggle dns) . Other website just don't work . You have to restart it everytime . and forget getting it to work with complex connections like vpns or ssll its random . its so weird it works sometimes and not other times. don't get this model . It needs a firmware update

Firmware version 1.03 has bug. After ugraded, I can't log in my game(Bandori, imas) on android phone(oneplus6) due to connection timed out. So I have to downgraded to ver.1.02. And it force me to upgrade fw to ver. 1.03 if i want to config the router.

D-link AX1500 doesn’t support bridge mode. My old old ASUS router or T-Link router all support bridge mode, that is why I didn’t check before buying them.
What wifi 5ghz channel does this router support? Does it support channel 149? Asking because samsung phones only support 149+ channel on wifi 5ghz band.

I have faced this channel issue a lot with recent routers not supporting higher channels and samsung mobile only supporting 149+ channels.

The AX1500 routers only support AC on the 2.4 GHz band and AX on 5 GHz. The AX1800 routers support AX on both bands.

All the settings are in the Video towards the 75%. You can use Dlink Mesh tech with supported Mesh systems.

Just received this router but it's performing really bad. The router will auto reboot itself every 15~30mins without reasons

Mesh compatible means you can connect multiple of these routers and create mesh network wirelessly.
