Tim Warren is the GOAT. He and his east coast gang (Billy M, Miriam, Todd.......) visited us in Minnesota back in the day and it was a HOOT hanging out with them. Later, we all went and saw The Trashmen play a show in Fairmont, MN. Somewhere, I have pics of everybody hanging out. Those were FUN FUN FUN times.
I bought "Back From The Grave" Vol 3 on vinyl back in 1985 at Jim's Records in Pittsburgh. That was the start of my fascination and love of 60's garage bands. I spoke with Tim on the phone when he was still operating out of New Jersey. He was super cool. Thanks for putting your heart and soul into Crypt, Tim. It's we the fans of this music that reap the rewards.
2011. Way back. Sorry to be so late. I get it. I collect WW2 military and records. Too expensive now. So Back from the grave was amazing. Played those comps on college radio for a decade. Saw Tim roll up on a street in Brooklyn for the Sonics show. Need I say more? We were both there for the Sonics. Props to Tim and Crypt.
Hey there. My real name is Jack. You can write to me here if you wish: jackjbib2@yahoo.co.uk However, I doubt I can help you with anything in reg. to a doc on garage rock. I didn't make the Tim Warren interview and I don't know him personally. I just like some of the music and I have a (rather small) collection of garage rock records. I'm not in a band. And I can't finance your film as I'm skint, LOL.

Thanks for your comment, Bruce. I bouht my first record by The Nomads (the Swedish band) in 1984 or 85 and discovered the old stuff via that route.

@GyntherMeyer I would love to reach out to you as we are making a documentary about garage rock. Is there a way I can connect with you?
