I was listening to Dr. Patrick and she talks about long cardio sessions creating new brain cells and pathways, "neurogenesis." Maybe that's why Tony lapping everyone at Big Bear and Nate competing in triathlons maintain strong chins over long careers. They're rebuilding and fixing damage from taking shots with their insane cardio sessions.

@@ryugo7713 it's been a tradition for fighters throughout the years. Whenever they announce retirement during the post fight interview in the octagon, they usually remove their gloves and place them on the octagon floor. Henry didn't follow that tradition, which could mean he's not retiring, and announced retirement as a way to earn more money in his next fight.

I think tony went blind during the stoppage. The way he was shaking his head was like his eyes weren’t working, might be the same nose injury Rory got in the Lawler fight, Rory said he was losing his vision in that fight

Nobody on the planet should take that many bangs to the face. Some people are saying it was just too much pain/damage for him to handle and he just wanted it to stop. Personally, I actually think he was shaking his head to stop himself from loosing consciousness, a method to wake himself up. You may be right though. Either way it was sad to see Tony like that, I’m sure he’ll be back, but all credit to Justin Gaethje that man is nothing short of a beast.

It’s fairly obvious that triple c will return and there’s no way dom was winning that unless he got a ko or sub, even if the fight continued Henry would’ve most likely won on the scorecards

Henry isn't retiring. In the post fight presser he was asked if there was anything to get him back in the ring and he said "Dana knows the number". So he's obviously making a play for a higher contract. There is zero chance he doesn't fight again IMO.
He also said when he retired from wrestling he never came back to it and that the feeling he had back then when he retired from that, is the same feeling he has now with the UFC.
