It was simple introduction with calm tone and her walk seems comfortable. Although, I’m not an expert I believe it’s important to choosing a winner based on their intelligence and performance. I love how state level beauty contests in Nagaland and other northeastern states tries to include every community’s unique attire’s during the traditional round. Look at Miss Manipur contests (e.g., Miss Manipur contest 2023). Although almost 50% of Manipurians don’t know meitei language nor have anything to do with meitei’s culture, the traditional round is meitei cultural attire and music itself too is meitei music. This is just one aspect of politics in Manipur. No wonder the minority communities are beginning to express indignities.
Host for any event should be in control of the crowd. His or her posture, walk and voice should have a power that can bring goosebumps to the crowd. Hikali was good but i believe she can work more and become better. And congrats to Anon ! You deserve the crown ❤
