I never actually trained to improve my speed , since 1st grade sonic was my best ever influence and for 4 years straight all i used to do was run back and forth multiple times , i still do this but ever since i saw how messi dribbled the ball i watched him dribble A LOT for 5 months straight and now instead of running brainlessly around the field like sonic i practiced keeping the ball at my feet and making it as if the ball was glued to my feet , thanks for the tips of training now i wont have to run 80meters brainlessly :) ❤🎉😊 you're teachings are very nice and simple thank you for teaching me the advanced side of football 😊
I also personally recommend box jumps to improve ur explosiveness and acceleration note: the box jumps might have a side effect of making u jump higher
Nice video, I'm myself 13, my body gets tired FAST when I'm playing football, I'm decently fast but don't want to waste my energy on mindless sprinting. Just a suggestion, but a video on shooting would be helpful :) Curving (Even if a little bit)
So the technique I show you at the end of the video, I use that. I glide slow and then pick up pace quickly. You can also hit the ball, sprint towards it and then do the glide, I see some people do that.
It's hard in the beginning because the touch isn't finessed as yet. Just do it daily, try to leap forward in that motion as long as you can. Eventually, you'll see that your touch starts to get more fine, and your control will get better. Do it non stop for atleast half an hour a day and in week 2 you'll see some results

Sounds like a good plyometric exercise. Ultimately even if you do other exercises, you should still measure your 50m sprint to see if you got faster

Sure thing. For the glide, train it daily since that's like a core skill. Sprinting, train that like 2 -3 times a week with high intensity.

Would this work with other excersises other than sprinting? For example, would my body improve if I did curls until I can't anymore?
Yup, same concept, but things like curls aren't functional for stuff like football, but your body would recover and get stronger
