Proud owner of a 16 s touring 2.5 l model. The best car ive ever owned. Design, comfort, sportiness and features all punch above it all in the segment. Mazda rocks!
Proud owner of a 2018 Mazda 3 2.0L Skyactiv hatchback. Very fun to drive with all its features. Using the sports mode makes it very fast car in the highways.
@@vivaciousom5347 Overall yes, is it perfect? No but for the price and what you get its pretty nice. Basically the biggest complaint is the road noise and ride quality. Its not terrible but its not great either.
i have an older manual 3 and love it. i do need to update the suspension. i just got some low level ones and its not so good. especially in crappy pennsylvania. the WORST roads i have ever seen. so bad you can only laugh. i like the older exterior much more but the new interior is so nice.
Mazdas are great and underappreciated! I have had two before and love the drive and the styling. I don't miss the road noise though. Hopefully they'll fix that.
Most compact cars are noisy at 70mph (68-71 decibels). 2017 Mazda 3s come with Bridgestone Ecopia tires. You can change out the stock tires to help reduce the road noise.
ideaynojodas The Corolla is very reliable and dependable, that's it's trump card but in today's world that's not enough like it was 10 years ago... They sell very well but it's nothing special.
why does an aggressive mean face mean a more enjoyable driving experience? Can't a car be individual and have a happy looking face? Most modern safety features should not be optional, look at the Toyota Corolla for example.
chetthehoss If beside the word Skyactiv like Skyactiv G the 'G' stands for gasoline engine, while the D stands for the diesel engine. GVC stands for G-Vectoring Control.
If you can find a way to seamlessly integrate the display into the dash, while still keeping it high and within the driver's view while still looking at the road, then please by all means patent it and let all these manufacturers know. It will make you very rich
I love my 2006 Mazda 3 Touring. It's fast, sporty and has been an awesome car. Unfortunately, hail got the best of it. In regards to this model; I want to ask Mazda... What happened? This car looks boring. The interior color has a ying/yang Ikea rug color to it. There's no spoiler; no visible exhaust and that grill doesn't look like "an angry face"; It looks like a face with some cognitive deficits. The grill doesn't really match the styling of the rest of the car.
Seems to be too many fanboys gushing on this video so let me give you the real scoop. The Mazda interior looks like a class above most compact economy cars. The driving dynamics are good, feels connected. But ultimately, it's not the best at efficiency, comfort, or handling. Technology wise it is behind most competitors, especially Honda. The Mazda 3 is still a nice, safe pick, but it's not the holy grail of handling like many reviewers keep parroting.
Reverend Green The rest of the people who are commenting those things are opionions. Just like yours is. I've driven everything in the class and in my Opinion It's an incredible little car
I wonder if the press gets a different car than what the public gets in final production. I drove the Automatic and the Manual. Not very roomy, very noisy and unrefined. Not as sporty as every media outlet tries to make yo believe. What I'm trying to say, it doesn't feel any more sporty than say, the New Civic. The British built 5 door Civic feels more "sporty" than the Mazda 3. Seems like every thing I read, or I hear about Mazdas are read from a script that Mazda gives out. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid car, but not a stand out.
I have to agree with you. I have driven the 2017 2.5i automatic and manual and neither overly impress. Sometimes, the manual version will outshine its automatic counterpart but this is not the case. As for driving sportiness and handling, I personally do not find it particularly athletic or impressive. FYI I am not comparing it to a BMW/Lexus, just with cars in its own class. It is also quite unrefined. Where do these journalists get their information....or is it a case of just repeating what others say.

This is a great review. You have a really friendly, Colin Hanks kind of demeanor. It draws the viewer in.
Just bought a 2017 Grand Touring!
Me too!
Are you happy with it these many months later?

@@Char2805Live Thanks. It’s one of the cars I am considering.
I like this style better than the newer ones. Can you get apple play added to this car?

one of the best review I have seen recently..
Please make the Mazda 2 Sedan review (SEDAN)
The Mazda2 has been discontinued in the U.S. for a few years now.
I see. Thanks btw! Since Mazda 2 is more popular in our country since the 3 was beaten hard onto sales by the civic.
Ohhhhh i see. Thanks for the reply anyway.
here's an older review of the Mazda2 from 2013 (same reviewer) ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=MfYkDyosl_Y

hey Jeff. what's your beef with the Corolla? 😕

Is there any difference in price between the manual and automatic
The price differs depending on the trim but the manual will be around $1k cheaper. Check prices here www.autobytel.com/mazda/mazda3/2017/prices/
thanks
i did test drive for this car 1.6L is noisy... other 1.6L car are noisy also?
rjbiona13 buy an electric if u wanna silence
I am now a little biased to the reviewer after seeing New Order being played.
Dude said flavors of engine
For a split second, I thought I clicked on a Hooniverse review. ;)
A lot less swearing here...
Smiley Mazda's have been gone for a while!

That head unit looks so ugly. It looks like they designed the interior and forgot to add a screen and just stuck one on there...
stop asking me to change my name! Don't forget Audi as well.
