If we're playing that game, I was 25 in 91, and the original was mind blowing. This was quite possibly the greatest sequel in cinematic history. In my opinion.
Man called Bear McCreary, did it. And yeah, he's insanely talented,, He did Battlestar Galactica, too, the reimagined version. Also The great Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Defiance, where he used that Portishead song Roads when the camera slowpanned around the village spying on all their secrets---Mayor Amanda getting high and taking Nolan into her bed, Datak Tarr trying to drown Stahma in that white bath surround by white curtains, Irissa's deadly magic taking out more victims... He's also composed for The Walking Dead, Agents of SHIELD, Snowpiercer.... whenever you hear a great theme, on TV, films, games, check to see if it's him. It often is, because McCreary is the best.
I'm 41, so do I! I'm also reminded of when I was 13 or 14 and I watched it earlier in the day and shortly after, I went for a bike ride only to notice the highway in real life was just like the opening scene of T2. The 90's cars, the sun beaming off the hoods and roofs of the vehicles... all normal life... until Judgment Day. It suddenly dawned on me... the system could blow us all away and there would be nothing we could do. Long story short... I became a Christian 3 years later. Now it all makes sense. Compare that scene to now... looks oddly familiar. lol
The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope. Because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.
The upgrade is REAL. Everything is well put together with an interpretation included. Even BATTLEFIELD MODERN combat IS HERE.....YES. DUBSTEP well used PROPERLY. Counter melody used properly. Reconstruction of the past perfectly done adding more layers of interpretation.
This one is 80' s song and I still remember I used to watch this program on TV in that decade. I used to insist my father I want that car when I was child, but my father disappoint me everytime. Because they know they cant afford it. Though I love my father very much❤❤❤. I used to die to watch Knight Rider serial. Evergreen music.❤❤❤❤
Seriously if you close your eyes and sit in silence take a deep breath, this theme clearly feels like Remembering the past, worrying about the future and regretting the present😢😢😢

I can picture it playing during the T2 intro. Its different then the original theme but just as good in my opinion.
