First we will be covering some basics:
70% The max you can boost a stat
To get that 70% with 12% traits you will need 5.8 (so 6) slots dedicated to one stat.
With 14% traits you will need 5
With 18% traits you only need four.
Also It is not a bad thing to have stat waste, there’s usually going to be some stat overages.
Max flat stats are 300 for defense & attack while it caps at 1000 for HP.
1st build option - EZ single max stat:
1. Choose the stat you find most valuable to max
The easiest & most efficient stats to build with are the 18% traits, four 18% medals adds up to 72% with only 2% going to waste.
With four 18% traits used going to the maxed stat, you would then put the remaining two slots left over towards second best stat. If you’re using 18% trait medals then you would have a fully maxed main stat with a half maxed sub stat. (Some examples of builds for the current meta: if you’re building shield units; having max health is always preferred. Units like Jabra or egghead Sanji, who power scale off defense stats, would be best benefited from maxing defense & putting the rest into HP
2nd build option - 14% stat builds
1. This one leaves us with a lot less options, since it takes five slots to a max stat with 14%s. Your best bet is to not build a maxed stat but instead go for more balance between the two.. It’s a lot easier to build with 14%s when you’re building for a 6 star unit (3 medals/9 slots used)
2. Now this one really does depend on the unit but either method of 4/2 or 3/3 is as optimal as you can get when going for balance.
3rd build option - 12% stat builds
1. Now 12% and 11% are some of the least optimal ways to build. I personally only use them as placeholders and will transfer a new trait when possible.
2. As boring as it may seem, when working with 12%s your best bet is to just do three and three of your recommended stats.. it takes six 12% traits to max a stat, in my opinion that’s entirely too much.. especially when it’s already hard to obtain the ideal double max stat builds in the long run.
This last bit about hating 12%s is just my opinion. We all have to make do with what we have, especially when F2P, so don’t think less of your medal sets if they have 12%s.. I still have plenty of sets I’m using with 12%s. I just make do until I can replace them with better traits & sometimes that takes a while.

The main problem when losing an account or stating a new account is the medals like i made a new account on the 5.5 and I'm struggling with the medals even tho i got 73 tt.

@@maxwax7958 I agree & if I’m being completely honest, I had to grind medals like it was my job last year to catch up. I got the medal pass several times to make the most of good event medals. It’s very tough for new players, especially if you’re f2p. The more resources the better
