This is cool! I've always wanted to invest in some zwave stuff devices, and specifically the aeotec line, but was hesitant due to the high price point. Also, I am unable to find your tee spring store; I tried the link and also googled, but no luck.
I have a ton of aeotec z wave stuff. It’s very stable. The only product I have issues with is the door/window sensors 7. Beyond them being fairly touchy to setup, the batteries don’t last anywhere near the stated time. I get maybe a few months out of each, which is a major pain. Especially as they don’t use very standard batteries and you have to buy them off of random sources. But again, the rest of their products have been great for me. Especially the TriSensors.
This should get you the device handler if you are still having issues.... github.com/Aeotec-ccheng/SmartThingsPublic/blob/aerQ/devicetypes/smartthings/aeotec-aerq.src/aeotec-aerq.groovy
Why I above to touch the buton of the senor each time to see the the current temp? Otherwise the temp is not updating in the smartthing app. I do not have to the option to change the report.. ( Android)
@@BurnsHA I'm not sure why, but from the start when I added to the smartthing, it was detected as multisensor, this was wrong. After I saw this video I did some research and added the aerq code to my smartthing IDE and reconfigured the sensor, now, works fine. Thx!

so your sensor is not automatically reporting the temp?
