- There's no way a Venus flytrap can catch this quick little wasp. Or is there?
The Venus flytrap has long been the stuff of sci-fi lore. It's green, it's toothy and it's carnivorous. It looks like an anglerfish in plant form. And luckily for you, it doesn't eat humans. The Venus flytrap has a refined palate. Well, it's refined for a carnivorous plant. So what kind of creatures does it eat? How does it eat them? And why is this plant carnivorous?

What if a venus flytrap eats a venus flytrap
Can it catch bullets tho?
Do we know what chemicals it uses ?
Interesting.
Jokes on you, I believed it.
I suspect you may not be correct about it not eating humans. If it were hypothetically a very large trap that could encompass a person, would it not then eat them?
Dude in the beginning didn't give the poor plant a choice.
I came from Snapchat bcuz i cant stand those ads every 10 secs
Fthere are tons of them in north carolina
cool
If you see a venus fly trap it's best to leave it be is a rather silly comment. First of all, they are grown in the wild only in a small section of North Carolina and to some extent South Carolina, so you're not likely to just stumble upon one. Second, they are an endangered species and in NC it is a felony to pick or disturb them.
Only plant that eats insects
Ahhhhh yes Venus fly traps bear traps of nature
The Venus Flytrap is cool - but its cousin, the TRIFFID is way cooler:))

QUIT blocking the screen view with ads for other programing. I watch this type of programing to be educated and obstructing the last 10-15 seconds is very disruptive. If it's interesting, I'll be looking for more episodes and will happily watch an additional 10 seconds of "Hey-watch-this-too" at the end. But let me finish watching your first offer without screwing it up!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
well its kinda copy cat of bbc haha
not bad, but the one in BBC is masterpiece
But plants are vegan!
First!!!
Evolutionists: "So.. a plant slowly got better at catching bugs and then slowly developed a digestive system to eat them..."
