For me, on DMD, Vergil keeps entering a phase in which he cannot be combo'd, and it lasts the entire fight. I mean he parries or teleports after 1 hit, 100% of the time. So, you get to land a single hit in between his devil triggers. This is his pattern: get hit once, parry/teleport, purple orb bs, devil trigger. None of his normal openings exist (e.g. I can only hit him once after he finishes spamming helm breakers). Never seen or heard of this.
Use DT explosion more and let him do combo and then hit him when he openes up (only AFTER his combo). If you hit him mid combo/before he does it he will flinch first time and then parry and counter attack. Well, you can bait him into combo this way but he can do yamato slash(1:00) which is unreactable i would say. You can see his combo always end with downward slash with force edge(full combo in 0:08) or stinger(full combo in 1:06) and you need to attack slightly after he does those specific moves. Just learn when to attack after those combos and you are golden! Also dont let him get away with jc Good luck!

Like, I could fight him for 20 minutes without landing more than 1 consecutive hit. Also, he's now behaving like this on every difficulty mode. I should probably take a video of it because it's so unreal.
I somehow appreciate this more than the no damage runs, idk, I find imperfection more interesting than all the sweat and *arrogance* coming from *not being hit a single time*

Really depends, I think trickster is easier (never played this mission with that style though lol), RG is just faster, more damage if you know timings. Good luck!

i played like every second day for 2-3 years in 1-2 hours sessions i think, i love this fight a lot. It helped a lot in dmc 4 and 5 also :)

@@hewie1841 you can knock him out of it if you'll charge DT explosion for addition 3-4 bars and then hit him 1 time
