I so want to build a tank.. but every time I look into it. I get so overwhelmed with all the information and terminology and everything you have to test and what not.. reef tanks sure do look amazing though.
This is Awesome
Beautiful! I love the natural rock work and the open swimming area in the middle.
That Leucosternon owns that tank and is absolutely brilliant
Yea really
Awesome tank
Thanks Troy
Stay tuned
It’s honestly an addiction to have a reef tank I started of with a 14 gallon IM and quickly went to a 40IM in a matter of 2 weeks... honey reason I didn’t go bigger is because I already have a 55 freshwater in my room and it wouldn’t fit .Can’t wait to own my own house and have two good sized tanks one fresh and one reef.. both are such a beauty to watch. Seeing my flower horn grow from 1 inch to not top 3 inches and co living with my puffer, And my reef corals watching the growth of you succeeding in a good quality.
wow!
Herbie baby :)
Well ive now had to stop my life time of keeping marine reefs all down to change in life but hey ho ive fab memories over the years & watched how technology has developed for enjoying such a restful hobby.
So good luck to all & enjoy life as mariners.

Hello, not sure if you have answered this before but I'm trying to get back into the hobby. I had a 75g reef tank a few years ago. I was wondering where do you get amazing corals from and fish. I lost all my connections. Trying to not spend a fortune with big stores that charge an arm and leg for tiny frags. Thank you in advance.

How to keep a successful fish tank. 3 easy steps.
1) Get the biggest tank you can afford. If you can't fit a car in it, then its not big enough.
2) Keep it clean.
3) If you find yourself cleaning it, you are doing it wrong.
I think I need to go into rehab...
Amazing looking tank where are the holes drilled in this tank back or bottom glass? And how many holes looking at setting something similar up
Hey there
There are 4 holes in this tank. 2 drains and 2 returns. Must watch the other videos on this tank on reef tank addiction. All the info is there
Whats the name of black n pink wrasse kind of fish
Love it! Keep'em coming...
By the way, I think someone else already asked but I was trying to figure out what kind of fish that was swimming along the front glass. It's top half id black with yellow fins and white belly with horizontal pink or red stripe. I would love to get one, so if you know or may be ask your friend I would really appreciate it.
Thanks from San Antonio:)
I believe it's a type a wrasse
Nice fox face, looks massive and bright.
Yes looks healthy and growing well
Very nice tank and good on the ear too. Have subscribed look forward to watching more.

Bahhh haha why did u end this episode? Right when i wanted to learn more about the auto topoff. I have a 125 cichlid tank...so i am one of those dudes who loves saltwater but hasnt made the leap...yet. hah
Hahahahahha VB joker. Yes Saltvwater is great and can be accomplished these days with the technology and info available. Please stay tuned as it only gets better.
The and for tuning in and be sure to sub!
I definitely suggest you start a simple reef tank
Hi,Leo,thanks for your sharing, may i know your tank's size and what lamp you use, wanna get one started,^*^
The tank in this video is not my tank. This tank in video is Ian's 150 gallon with metal halides and compact Florescence tube lights. On my 125 gallon reef I have full spectrum LEDs
Oh,i see, thanks you for your time answering, and i also have one question: how did you gauge tank size by gallon or what watt lamp is suitable for what gallon/sized tank? thank you again for your kind reply
To gauge lamp watts to tank size or gallons is not so much something that I calculate. It's more from experience and research from others trial and error. Depending how deep your tank is and what you want to keep in your tank are all factors that come into consideration
Great video....CHRIS THE HOBBY GUY
Thanks Chris glad you joined us
Stay tuned
Happy New Year....
Thanks buddy all the best
Chaeto is pronounced Cheeto... FYI. Also, on your mangroves, you need a bigger bulb, and you need to spray off leaves daily from the salt residue. Not bashing, just trying to help.
Nice looking tank though. Cheers.
Awesome Luke for the feed back and comments much appreciated. Thank you very much. That's the reason for REEF TANK ADDICTION! Is to help others and you just helped me and I'm sure many others if they ready your comment! Stay tuned and good ear! Means you are paying attention!
Thanks again in advanced, for joining the channel here on RUclips LEOPAZZO
Very nice reef. That was like a cliff hanger there at the end. Is there going to be a part 2 to this tank?
Yes there will definitely be a part 2

Subscribed! I am addicted too!
Yes puff daddy reef glad you joined us.
Stay tuned brother don't miss out
This is about the size of a tank that I would consider getting myself.
Can you give us a raw estimate on costs for a system like this (both initial cost and monthly costs).
Also electricity so I can calculate it for my country (Poland).
Do you have any videos about starting a new saltwater tank I need a small one like a nano tank any advice?:)
Yes I have many videos of new salt water tank set ups. You must look through my videos and see which one will help you most
Good video. =)
Thank you
Definitely stay tuned for more.
Great video. Subscribed. Keepem coming you based out of Canada? I heard kijiji mentioned.
Yes based out of Toronto canada
Thanks for staying tuned
Leo Pazzo Will do. Im out of Windsor, have a 72 gallon Bowfront Reef.
Heard thefragtank mentioned too so that kinda gave it all away. Well done showing off Canada's Reefers.
If your ever in the area, swing by and pick up a Monti frag. Hand picked out of my tank,
Be sure to stay updated on the vids, some cool stuff coming
Leo Pazzo Do you have a shop in Toronto? Im near Barrie.
Yes I have a shop in the north markham location. Email me directly at moderntouchdesign@gmail.com
Glad to see others that are local to me. Thanks for watching n definitely stay tuned
Where did you get your tank?
Ash Maxwell custom made
Thats a great looking tank! I bet its a HUGE pain to keep the back of it as clean as he has it (or for the guy he might be paying to keep it clean :D)
Hahahaha Tim yea your prob right! It does look super clean and is prob a pain to keep it clean like he does. We will be revealing the secret on how he keeps it looking so clean!
Thanks for tuning in, only going to get better
Leo Pazzo I'm literally at the edge of my seat to learn the secret :D
Yea Tim I was shocked myself when I heard it. That part will prob be in the 2nd or 3rd episode.
Soon to come. It's only going to get more in detail as we go along!
Leo Pazzo This is good stuff for sure
Thanks coralfish12g stay tuned for more of REEF TANK ADDICTION for more upcoming tanks and interviews
What was that he used to top off his water to keep his calcium/magnesium alkalinity stable
Dosing pump
I am able to keep the fish in my saltwater tank but I am not able to keep the enemies tell me what I’m doing wrong
There are many variables when it comes to keeping corals.
What other corals do you have that are doing well and not doing well?
There are a few techniques I used when I first introduce anemones to my tank. For example turn off my wavemakers and return pumps and skimmer. I now find a good place for the anemone to mount their base to. Preferably not right in front of a wavemaker powerhead. For the most part they will move regardless where you try and place them. Your goal is to get them to mount their base somewhere in the tank preferably on liverock. After 10-20 minutes of the Anemone being mounted in liverock. I will turn back on my return pump and monitor the anemones. After 5-10 minutes I will then turn on wavemakers on low setting.
Monitor anemones daily. Feed reef roids and they will also filter through the water and eat water they want that is in the water from fish waste or un eaten food or frozen food etc.
Hopes this helps at least a bit
Cheers

Ok reef rookie
Get at me and let's do it
Moderntouchdesign@gmail.com
sure i will get back to you soon bro.. thankz.
Reef Rookie Hell yeah SW ontario #1
How much a tank this size cost
What light do have in this tank please
What it the fish in the middle of the tank @ 1:30? It's got white belly and black back?!?!
Most Likely a wrasse
What would be an estimate on how much the coral in this tank cost?
Very good question. Estimated coral cost would be approximately $2500.
With Liverock 3500$ with fish $400-4500 Canadian dollars would be my estimate. Could be more in some places and less in others. Regardless the cost $ its what it's worth to the owner! Happy reeding Frankie T
what size is the sump?
Sump is 55 gallon 48" 12"x 22"
Hi,
My friend recommend me using 24 hours UV light for my reef and fishes 130 gallons fish tank. Do you use one? I will really appreciate your answer.
Hey Marek T what's up and thanks for tuning in.
I myself do not use a UV on my 125g. Also I don't believe my buddy Ian that is in this video also does not use a UV. Some reef tanks use them in moderation. Have it so you can turn it on and off when needed as it is not needed all the time
LEOPAZZO TV
Thank you for your opinion. I hesitate to buy it or not. I see that people don't use UV and I am wondering why my friend (maybe not friend:) ) strongly recommend it for my fish tank. I wrote ,, friend" about man who has a fish shop 30 years and I am his customer. You know, I don't speak English very well, I came from Poland, and usually I get information from people who want help. Like you. Thank you one more time. On this moment I have only sock and protein skimmer in my sump. He told me that the strongest UV working 24 hours is the best solution for me. Maybe better to buy biopellets reactor first?
Best Regards from California.
how long will it take you to clean this tank?
Depends what needs to be done exactly but on average roughly 1-2 hours max
Nice vid...sounds like you're from Toronto
Lol yea you got that right
Toronto! What gave it away?
I'm originally from Bolton...used to have friends in Woodbridge lol
whats a good book to read for a newbie interested in getting into reef tanks in a few years? I dont have much of an idea on saltwater tanks. Would appreciate advice
Hey Allen
Welcome to the hobby and my channel
I would suggest joining my group on Facebook called SALTWATER FISH TANKS MADE EASY. Also look on RUclips for more videos
Thank you!
What is the black and red and yellow fish?
I believe it's called a flame angle
Not the flame I'm talking about the one that was swimming openly and looked sort of like a wrasse. Its in the middle of the tank at 1:31.
Eric Kopczynski
Hey Eric, did you ever figure out what kind of fish that was? I noticed too, and I also thought it might be a wrasse but could not find anything that looks like that. I also played this video at my LSF and stumped everybody!
Thanks
Nikon wrasse
+rayville308 Nikon wrasse

not the best video I've ever seen
Yes Jessica that's fine I understand! It may not be that fun to watch but does have great information for those who need it.
Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be something you like. Thanks for the feedback!
LEOPAZZO TV I deeply apologize for being rude. I wrote this comment on my mother’s account when I was only 8 years old and quite immature. I have matured now and become less of a brat and want to apologize once again. By the way, I think that tank is pretty sweet
