From a guys perspective who is 24, out of college, working full time, and never really been in a serious relationship, still a virgin (and not ashamed by it)...I had to smile through this whole thing. At this point, I don't mind waiting. She'll come one day. Now we just need someone to write something like this for all those teenage boys out there. Maybe call it " It's worth the wait."

I'm glad wihen that does happen for people. I wanted that too, but I ended up leaving the relationship 3 weeks before we were supposed to get married. I woke up and realized he abused me. I stayed after giving everything to him...when I really did not want too. It is a sad reality, and it still hurts. But, I know I can always try again to save myself, even though I had to walk away from an abusive relationship (first kiss, etc. with that man).

I've also gotten left by some guys because I wouldn't sleep with them within the first week of dating. I sometimes feel like an outcast because in my generation, there's so many having sex, most of the time for the wrong reasons. My body is my temple, and my love is sacred. I totally agree. Unfortunately society think that's invalid, they think you don't have the right to say no sex until marriage if you've already had sex before.
But it is completely valid to say no sex until marriage, even if you've already had sex 500 times before. It's even completely valid to never do anything sexual again at all ever, even after marriage, if that's what you prefer too, even if you've already had sex 500 times before. It's all about being upfront and honest about what you prefer, and the other person being honest and respecting your boundaries.

Im 26 and still single. But i truly believe in this song and the message it brings. This song really hit me today. My grandma passed away from cancer 1 month ago. Yesterday we remembered my grandma and put her ashes I the urn and told our favorite stories of her. When It was my grandpa's turn he broke down crying and said that the first Christmas together she had to go home to her parents unexpectedly and she sent him a letter that said even though we are apart I am with you. I love you. And choking on tears he said "I hadn't even kissed her yet" they have been married for 53 years and that is one of his favorite memories. She was worth the wait.
