Awesome video,Aqua Flies makes a round eyed shank that's great when I tie with a cone or bead, tight lines & bent rods 🤙
Awesome fly man! I’ve just started tying today and did a couple scud and midge patterns
William Monney Thanks Will! Those Are Definitely Good Flies To Start With!
Great fly. Thanks for the vid.
Wow awesome lesson thank you sir
FYI OPST Shanks allow for a bead to be put on
Aarron Hulswitt Really? Which Model? Ive Never Seen Them Thanks!
Steelhead shank that OPST offers. goo.gl/RxC6V2
Aarron Hulswitt Ive Never Seen Those Ones, Ive Only Seen These www.opskagit.com/store.html#!/Intruder-shanks-20-pack/p/44971330/category=8314490
There is also the Micro Shank (goo.gl/71ASBM) which is just a thinner wire than the Steelhead shank
Montage streamer
Nice fly. Just curious as to why you invert the trailing hook. Would that not cause more damage to the fish in a catch and release situation, say a Steelhead.
The fly is meant to be fished without the main hook just the trailer but the fly could be fished without a trailing hook
nice!!
Why do people add the wire?
Just for extra weight.. depending on the water you’re fishing you might want to get down a little more
