This explains what happened to me over the last couple of years. I got divorced from my wife about 4 years ago and went into a deep depression. I turned to the writings after many nights of suffering from heartbreak. Then I started seeking the company of the Baha'is. I went to a couple of Ruhi classes because firesides seemed to be a thing of the past. After continued effort I started listening to many of the great talks on youtube by Hooper Dunbar and other speakers. I even ran into covenant breakers that inspired me but having already a deep knowledge I knew that I should stay away from them. I went to Taiwan and an old friend of mine also became a Baha'i. She still helps me a lot but my concerns are many. How can I serve the cause and stay close to my children, who didn't embrace the Faith of Baha'u'llah? How can I further the cause? How can I find work and still help the community that I live in? How can I combine my talents in a way that furthers the cause of God? How can I help the people around me when I can see that the obvious problems of the world are too big to be handled on a national level through political means? And the more I learn the hotter I become. I am so grateful for the Faith. I thank God everyday for giving me the grace to be able to recognize Baha'u'llah. Slowly I was even able to forgive my ex and even love her and be concerned for her well being. My kids come to see me when they can and even go to Baha'i gatherings with me, though I admit that food may be the reason they go to these activities (Baha'i have great food).

Does the healthy and sincere soul seek anything less than consecration? May we follow the Light, and at all times strive to remain committed to the principles and practices of consecration. Divine assistance is assured.
