The thing I miss the MOST abt, "Steezy" were the niche super quality vlogs that had lessons or moral talks sometimes or brief cinematic skits. My fav video is def "Having Fun In New York" off Cheezy Steezy
A lot of his videos where he was messing around with friends without really doing "pranks" were very fun. The video was funny and entertaining and a lot of the time he'd do some kind of merch advertisement or skit thing.

Jokes aside, the harsh truth is that nobody cared enough to make it good, not even Alejandro. Things don't fail because of a single person, and if they do, they were never good enough to begin with. Looking back we got super lazy with the production, zero effort in making clips, and nobody tried to make it a real show.
That being said, Steezy was like an immovable object. Literally nothing we did helped him which pissed me off too. Asking him to shoutout the podcast felt like pulling teeth, so of course it's super frustrating because it's so easy. And this thing about 'feeling lost' and shit, I get it, but also another excuse to not take action.
Bit Time Pride Alejandro has a hard time accepting things sometimes, but this is shit he knows because we've talked about it, and Big Time Depression over here needs to be coddled like a baby to get him to do something. (Steezy, coddled means treat in an indulgent or overprotective way." since I know you don't read.) You're also in your 'I'm' an artist mom!' phase where you want everything you do to be taken super seriously so POP is a direct threat to that. This makes it hard for you to care to be in it and shout it out.
POP needs a captain, and out of all of us I do agree Alejandro is the one that put the most effort and did try the hardest to make it happen. Both you and I were mentally checked out. So it makes sense for him to keep it and do whatever he wants, but it's just not the same without the trio. The chemistry was magic.
After seeing this whole thing unfold, I realize I'm too old to hold grudges.
POP will always be you, me, and Alejandro. Love you like a headache✌

I understand both perspectives, Alejandro is being very vague and childish by not being able to be as “real” and transparent as he says he is, but at the same time i understand him not wanting to do the podcast with steezy, the last few podcasts steezy was on were probably the most boring because he didn’t put any effort into the podcast and alejandro had to basically do everything, and also the fact that steezy went back on his word about the shoutout.
I think what’s missing here from both parties is the honesty, why doesn’t steezy put more effort into the podcast, does he not believe in it’s success? Is he ashamed of the podcast? Why is alejandro hyperfixated on the shoutout? Is it because he thinks the only way the podcast will blow up is through steezy?

Alejandro is just big time locked in right now, he helped you at your lowest and never let you give up and you decided you didn’t want to help him even with something as small as a shoutout regardless if people went to the pod from it or not

I think having respect for friends is so important. Even though Steezy cares for his friend, I don't think he respects him as a content creator. i think that's why he has been reluctant to promote the podcast, because stezzy isn't proud of his friend as a content creator, and thus feels as though being associated and promoting the podcast in some way will hurt his own image as content creator.
That’s the best way you could’ve put it. Steezy doesn’t feel like it’s in his best interest to associate himself with Alejandros podcast because he senses that it’ll hurt his brand in the future. Steezy still has the goal of making it big in Hollywood and for some reason him promoting the podcast will scare off potential clients. That’s such a stupid way to view it.
Steezy don’t even play it off like it’s not your fault, he’s done so much for u and u couldn’t even do a simple promotion. I’m disappointed in u bro. U wronged ur friend, u have to make up to him somehow.

Probably one of the most realest videos that Steezy ever drop. I like these types of video from the new Steezy it’s not wacky shi or anything. It’s just him wanting to put what he wants and I’m all for it.

yea this was very uncomfortable. People say alejandro is being childish and yet steezy couldn't talk to his friend without a camera on his face. Alejandro said multiple times to cut and steezy shut it down. They should have just talked privately because this clearly didn't work.

I’m in a similar situation, so I’ve recently just turned my life to Christ and obviously when I made that decision I have to let go of some things that I used to do, and it starts with my humor. He still makes sexual and rasist and just straight up hurtful jokes that are sometimes even mean (not to me but just about anyone). I feel like Steezy brings a more zen vibe to the podcast, sometimes extreme Alejandro, and Fil was a neutral balance.
The Dynamic has honestly worked great. Even with Steezy not feeling some of the humor is his brand, we can see that and it was part of the funny Dynamic. Y'all balanced each other out and I couldn't ask for a better podcast to stick with over the years and still now. Wish the best to all of you.
Exactly and how steezy says later in the video about alejandros jokes thats alejandro thats his personality and then you got fils personality and steezys everyone is different and thats what made it special
Tbh the bottom line is this: Steezy chose his image more than he chose his friends; nothing personal, he just has a brand he wants to keep up with and Alejandro saying some outta pocket stuff it seems like Steezy doesn’t want to put his name on that (hence why he posted on his second and not his main that was apparently originally the plan)
Honestly tho, Steezy really complimented the podcast because one, he was primarily the face of the podcast, and two, he was able to ground the energy when it would go to crazy. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is

Honestly i think that promoting the podcast in the singing in public would have been the best decision. 3 mio views would’ve gotten way more new people to the podcast than any other video with like 200k views. Also i don’t think that the viewer has to necessarily already be a steezy viewer to be interested in the podcast. I guess I’m on Alejandro’s side here

Cmon, confronting him on camera in his own home is CRAZY fr. Honestly, Steezy in the wrong. Cuz I bet Alejandro was more frustrated on how careless Steezy was within those 6 months in promoting the podcast and the Kendrick vs. Drake video was his final straw. This video is kinda dirty bc I can tell Steezy wanted to destroy Alejandro's image by mentioning his inappropriate/sexual humor. Also, refusing to turn off the camera in the hopes of getting Alejandro to say/do something that can be put outta context is not right. It's giving bad friend behavior. This really sucks cuz that podcast was really the only good podcast. Alejandro’s jokes that cross the line and seeing how you react is extremely entertaining and relatable cuz thats kinda what my friendship dynamics are in real life.
