Pro tap on forget password
Then select number you want to sent message and then enter it then you can login

ok dude, interesting hints but what about a scenario when I am logged in on 1 phone but I can't log in to another since I don't remember the password... I don't have email assigned but I do have a phone number assigned... there seem to be totally no option to reset password and it is a mindblowing gap on facebook side...

Since August 29, 2021, I haven’t been able to change my Facebook password. When I try to use the ‘Forgot Password’ option, it asks for the password that I have forgotten and whether the account is mine. When I try using another device, it says ‘We don’t recognize your device.’ Additionally, I can’t change my Facebook password. The provided email and phone number are correct, but it doesn’t show the option to send a code.

I successfully changed your password but when I try to login it says my password is incorrect
These options can't help me. I deliberately don't save passwords to my Google, forbid I lost my device.
This is absolutely unhelpful if it’s not locked on a new phone

Codes are sent to the email via text message. Can you tell me more about your issue?

Carol, in the Facebook app, go to 'Settings & Privacy' > 'Settings' > 'Security and Login.' From there, you should see the option to manage your password.

Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t let you view your current password for security reasons. If you need to reset it, you can use the ‘Forgot Password’ option to create a new one. 😊
