It's so hard to catch up in class because we only have online classes and sometimes our teacher cannot explain a topic well, but I'm glad that I can go to your videos to understand the lesson. You are really a great teacher. I am a second-year biology student. I got inspired and I want to learn more because of you. You're doing great sir. More power.

    Overall excellent lecture.
I would like to mention to corrections
    I. Around 12:48 you said reflected light ..it's better to use transmitted as reflected one has totally different meaning.
II. You wrote log in absorbance around 18:53 which is a wrong expression. Overall great job. Jai Hind

Very nice! You should look into the SoloVPE instrument. It's a varible pathlength set up that's attached to a Cary60 UV Vis. The instrument plots 10 varying pathlengths against absorbance, so dilution to the 0.5 - 0.8 is not required. In other words, if you the Extinction coefficient of your molecule, you can measure concentration without the need to dilute more concentrated samples.

Help with a question ????? A compound absorb light in 227 nm. The standard curve calibration for the compound is Abs = 372x + 0,6432 which the concentration is g/100mL. The technique was analytical standard adding from fluoxetine hydrochloride (C17H18F3NO.HCl - molar mass = 345,79 g/mol). So determine the concentration in mol/L from the analysed solution. Show all calcs progression.
