Rio Spey casting video "a blast from the past "The basic Spey cast and beyond with Simon Gawesworth

Over 30 years ago, the Rio fly line company produced one of the first modern-day videos on the art of the Spey cast with one of the leading instructors in the world, Simon Gawesworth. Rio line founder Jim Vincent produced this video on VHS, and we were lucky enough to restore the video. Eventually, the Rio line company merged with the Sage family of flyfishing products. The keen interest in Spey casting prompted Rio to hire Simon after this video was released. It's now a part of her flyfishing history saved forever
