You guys are wrong. The guitar player of this band, Traci Guns, was originally the guitar player of Guns n Roses when they were starting out in 1985 in LA. He left the band, and Slash was brought in to replace him, and Traci formed this band, LA Guns.

Axl was kicked long ago and formed GnR later. L.A Guns have loads of albums (I urge you to listen to the 1st album & Hollywood Vampires BTW) L.A guns where originally Tracie Guns & Axl rose hence Guns and Roses but L.A Guns and Guns and Roses are completely different bands.

No. Axl is from Hollywood Rose. Together With Izzy. Traci is from LA guns. The remaining members of defunct LA guns and axl, Izzy of Hollywood Rose decided to form a new band together. They name it by merging their last names of their former bands. Hence its Guns n roses. Therefore Traci is a founding member of gnr. Conflict between him and axl lead Traci to leave as well as rob and ole. Leaving axl and Izzy only. Slash was referred by a common friend then he called Steven whom both were from a band called Roadcrew. Finally duff audition and was hired. Traci later reformed LA guns. Steven was fired after two gnr albums and he also reformed Roadcrew.

@@ebzuusgsbsbshsvsv4482 He was in Hollywood Rose, too. I think that was back when he was still known as Bill Rose, but I might be mistaken about that (it's been a while ;) ). However, he was definitely in Hollywood Rose - he's the guy who came up with the idea to call the band AXL (and that's where his new name came from), which they did, before changing their name to Rose and then changing it again to Hollywood Rose when Chris Weber learned that there was already a band called Rose.
It is a shame L.A. Guns never more popular as Traci Gunns had a better voice than a lot of the glam metal guys. I think it must've been the timing. By the advent of the band reforming, metal was already on the downward part of it's arc.

Isn't the story that Tracii Guns and Axl Rose had two different bands, "LA Guns" and "Hollywood Rose" and they decided to play together and form Guns n Roses with Izzy Stradlin (who was in Hollywood Rose.) then Tracii left because of Axl's bullshit and Axl found Slash, who brought Duff, and then they recruited Steven Adler?
