Thanks! It was really hard to pass up the heals, but some of these fights it is better to push through rather than go for that heal. Trying to back off for a heal can be more deadly than just pressing the attack.
I suggest coming back later with a bit more investment in health then, since potion healing is half your max hp without modifiers. Once learned he is one of the easiest to perfect block almost all attacks, unlike some later game bosses who have to be fought almost exclusively with dodging.
Man how do you come back because this boss appeared twice for me, but I need to kill him to complete something but I can't find him, is there another way to find him ?
I know this reply is VERY late, but against some bosses the dodge is the way to go! Especially ever since the perfect dodge was added in to give stamina back.
GOT THIS GAME ON SALE...BUT THE DUAL scythes stats makes no sense .....it needs 5 str 20 dex and 20 void just to wield and it scales best with STR...what joke is this?
You say that, but unless they nerfed it since I put this video up, they were OP as hell. Plus beating him at the start made a certain rematch possible before beating the game, and the weapon from that is this but on steroids.
@@Skenjin i have no issues with the op nature but the stats on it doesnt make ..sense ....if its a quality weapon , it better scale upon dual stats but this weapons scales of the 3rd stat which is lowest requirement . Maybe i am wrong , but i have never seen this...

I'm lvl 58 and went back to give it a shot.
After about 15 humiliations I gave up.

How do you get the scythe without beating him at lvl 1? I just beat him and didn’t get it
