I disagree with your take on Lavine. Je is Not worth trading away Rui and giving up depth for someone who is a defensive liability. That’s going backwards.
CP3 did help Wemby a bit, but at the same time he required the spurs to play super slow, which helps in the clutch but isn’t how the spurs will play long term. So as a fan it’s frustrating to see him slow wemby speed down

as a Laker fan I really do not want LaVine, while Bron is on the team. We need to replicate the 2020 Team ... upgrade the big and get another wing defender who is not afraid to take 3s (Bruce Brown / Poodle combo trade from the Raps? Bridges / Nick Richards from Charlotte? Avdija / TimeLord from Portland? ). That's the type of roster setup to succeed in today's NBA and more importantly the type of roster to succeed w/ Bron and AD. Unless Zion is available. Then *bleep* it, go get Zion.

I think LaVine is just too hard to trade for due to his Salary. Giving up 5 players, is a lot. Not to mention that Rui can score more now as plays will be for him than DLo when AD sits. Gabe has been scoring about 10pts per game, same with Max. I think DEPTH is very important in the NBA now, and with this group they created more Flexibility in how they can play BIG and SMALL. They only need a Bruising Big and another PG without giving up too much of their own players.

Rui playing better lately esp on the defensive end. Get low salary quality big man and another ball handler accompanied by 1st rounders and we good.
