Ayr Rugby Club, Millbrae - opening of 3G pitch & new access road

The opening of the new access road and 3G pitch at Ayr Rugby Club, Millbrae, Alloway. The club planned the event around the charity visit to Millbrae from former British Lion and Scotland Captain, Rob Wainwright and 250 cyclists on the Doddie Weir Grand Tour.
Events on during the morning included walking rugby and demonstration matches between local schools. Cyclists started arriving from 8.00am and the club supplied them with food and washing facilities.
The cyclists left led by a piper.
The club used this opportunity to officially open the new road with Rob Wainwright and Alan Macdonald cutting the ribbon with club officials & local dignitaries in attendance.
