- Vanderbilt and Stanford played an elimination game in the 2021 College World Series. This turned out to be one of the most exciting games of the 2021 College Baseball Season. The winner would advance to play NC State, needing 2 wins (on Friday & Saturday) to advance to the CWS Finals.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Jay Santos clearly has never played at a high level and doesn’t understand the meaning of the word choke. Choke? Hardly. He was nails until sweat and humidity cost him some grip on the ball. But there were many other reason’s Stanford last this game. He was not one of them.
I freaked out when I saw this live. Im a vandy fan and in still hyped.

One thing I love about Enrique is how he can just clear his mind. On the ab where he struck out and didn’t run he was mad but then cleared his mind in the big spot and tied the game

Dude I watched this game with my dad and he was like there’s a .0000001% chance we get on base with two strikes and two outs then we go on to win on two outs the whole inning. One of the best games ever I’ve watched

I’m a Vanderbilt guy, but even I was sick after that. What a way to lose for Stanford.

I watched vandys highlights all year and root for them all the way. I’m so glad they won but I just feel bad for the pitcher. Great pitching up until the last pitch. Wish they won a different way

That pitcher is scarred for life. As a pitcher I know he’ll forever remember that day and that pitch. ⚰️
The worst part is, it's really not even his fault. Sure he threw the wild pitch, but he should have never been in that bullpen to begin with. 3 day rest after a 109 pitch start... and almost held it down too. Pushed his body to the limit and in my opinion, really showed what it means to be a true athlete and team player and unfortunately it just didn't turn out how you would have wanted. Regular season this would have been a commendable act that would put the rest of the bullpen in gear and to do better, unfortunately in the CWS it's not the same fate.

I played on the same high school summer competitive baseball team as Tommy Troy and Eddie Park on the Stanford team. I was so mad they lost this game. Great game though.

If you have been there, there has been way better games. Mississippi States last 2 games have been the best ones.

How crazy is this? Think about it. The entire season Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter were unbelievable. Greatest 1-2 punch in College Baseball. And now they’re 1 game away from their season ending and neither of them are on the mound. This is a real test for them. Let’s see how good they are when they don’t have a Top 3 Draft Pick starting for them…
