    This was so helpful! I have wide feet, so it seems like Hoka would be better for me. I appreciate you explaining the details about the fit of each.

    I have planter fasciitis so I got custom made orthotics. I tried supportive shoes but it never really helped. I’m glad I got orthotics now I never have foot pain. Birkenstocks around the house are the best.

    After watching a lot of reviews full of technical running and engineering jargon, I appreciated hearing a more real-life, anecdotal perspective. I have diabetes and suffer from peripheral neuropathy, so comfort is a necessity not only for working out but also for everyday activity. I found your review very helpful and am deciding between the On Cloudeclipse and Cloudmonster 2, which are better suited for voluminous or wide feet. I'm glad that On Running is catering to both those who prefer snug shoes and those who prefer roomy ones.

    Oh, maybe I'll have to try the Clifton. I have a wide foot and even the Wide width of the Hoka Mach 6 almost broke off the outside of my foot. But maybe another model would work. So far, all I can wear is Saucony.

    I have a terrible foot pain 9n the ball 9f my foot. I recently got the clifton 9 and they are amazing. Also got the hoka ora slides . My foot pain while wearing the hoka products is 80% relieved.

      At first me too, but my foot is too narrow for Hokas so after a couple runs of wearing those, I really did it. Out with foot stress injuries for a couple weeks and still hurt months later.

    I measured wide at the store I have to have an all leather shoe for my 20k step work but the hoka bondi wides are a bit sloppy on my wide measured feet and the Clifton suede work with my wide measured feet I don’t think on cloud offers wide but today I purchased my first pair and they still seem to work fine with my feet. I can’t wear them at work but I was going to wear them on my lunch runs instead of the hokas to try them

  • @Runnerschai
    @Runnerschai 6 месяцев назад +8

    Actually when it comes to sneakers you need a good running store and a salesperson to watch you walk to see how you walk to know the best shoe for you. It is not as simple as one person likes this style best so it will be best for me too.

    I love the cloud monsters but definitely not for trail...rocks get stuck. Keep that in mind.

      @kimvandeginste9353 7 дней назад

      For trail nothing beats the cloudsurfer trail. Soooooo comfortable. And for mix terrain . I owned 8 pairs already from on and for me the best shoe is the cloudsurfer trail . Not for speed work because they don't have there famous speedboard in it but it makes them more comfy .

    Just got my pair of hokas today and sad to say I’m a little disappointed. I got the bondi 8 in a ww for my feet still it feels more snug than I would like it to be. Also they are a bulky shoe. I’m going to the store tomorrow and try the on clouds before I return the hokas. Great video thanks.

    On Cloud is cheaply made. My husband had a pair that he wore gently and it broke in less than 6mo. We bought during the Christmas season. By April, the shoes are broken. CHEAP!

      well my family friend bought multiple pairs because they were so good. she bought her husband one and he more of a nike shoe person once he walked around in the for days he ordered another pair. because they were just that good. it depends on how you wear them and what your doing.

    Interesting review. (Hoka: Bondi and Gaviota are better than Clifton 😊)
    Just the Clouds look SO unnattractive, the teeth and holes on the tread look like when a man puts oversized tires with way too much tread on a smaller pickup. But the Hokas look cute, and my toes like to wiggle around for maximum control. But I have never heard of clouds, o I’ll have to try them out (even if they’re super masculine looking with the holes in the tread)
    They both look way too sporty, esp the soccer teeth look of the white ones, but I wouldn’t expect to dress up tennis shoes unless they’re flat white addidas.

      I love my clouds they are so cute maybe you should try them out and see them in person :) I always dress mine up and I get tons of compliments:) the hokas are comfy too but I think those are harder for me to dress up
