I have been with the same partner for 48 years and I think the ability to stick it out through good and bad times shows a lot of character. Also a similar background is very important. But you also need to know when it’s time to quit and move on, obviously that time has never come for me and my husband. Being able to change is also an important part of a relationship too. In a very recent yet humbling experience of mine, I have come to learn that women also look for a man who means what he says and keeps his word. I believe that women look for a man's actions to align with what he says - and not bullshit her with saying what he thinks she wants to hear in the moment just so that moment may pass. I believe that it shows the utmost respect to your #partner.
