There need to be more games set in Japan. Sony should have a Japanese studio making games exclusively set in Japan. Judgment was a great proof of concept, a game with a bigger budget and greater scope would be amazing
Looking back this is my favorite trailer for the game. I love the villain's calming voice over that gradually reveals his savagery. Just this soft speaking Mongol who in one moment can give you a lesson on life and then tear you to shreds in combat. Everything in it is so beautiful and I count the days until this piece of art gets released.

I liked how the trailer was silent (save for narration), and then gradually introduced sound. This game seems like another story focused single player game with beautiful graphics from Sony. That’s what gaming is all about as far as I am concerned, so this is really exciting. I hope though, that there will be a Japanese voice over.
InFamous and Sly had great gameplay, so I have no doubt the gameplay will be good here as well. Besides, you can figure out if you like a setting, story premise, and look of a game without seeing 1 second of gameplay.. or can't you?

Maybe you guys should've studied a bit more of Japanese history instead. This is pre-Tokugawa Shogunate Japan, so "never surrender" wasn't a big thing in their culture, even though seppuku to avoid capture existed. Even later on it's a heavily romanticized portrayal that you're thinking of, mostly penned by peacetime samurai who have never seen a drop of blood in battle, let alone shed it. Looking at you, Tsunetomo...(I mean come on, bushido wasn't even really a thing until hundreds of years after this battle)

Pretty wild to see how little downgrades there were between announcement trailer and final release. The only thing I really picked-up on was the character models looking a little better in this trailer, especially Khotun Khan.
It's wild to me that the announcement trailer for Ghost of Yotei has more views in a single day, than this announcement trailer in the entire six years of it's existence. Ghost of Tsushima was incredible, and this trailer was incredible. I can't wait for Ghost of Yotei--and I hope with all my heart that it blows us all away.
The most striking thing about this trailer is that it isn't bombastic. It's rather low-key. No epic music, no dramatic explosions. But it just oozes style and the use of the "narrator" is wonderful. This gives me more hope that it will be good than anything they could have done. It sets the scene perfectly and I have confidence in Sucker Punch to deliver.

I think Infamous is done, unless like the guy said before they give someone else permission to use their IP. A new IP by Sucker Punch seems refreshing and I can't wait to play this game, they only produce amazing top-notch quality games!

If you are looking for stealth action with Japanese/Samurai theme, take a look at Shinobido Series, is less popular than Tenchu, but much more polished. Works good on PC in PS2 & PSP emulators. Latest episode tho is availible only for PSVita

Pretty wild to see how little downgrades there were between announcement trailer and final release. The only thing I really picked-up on was the character models looking a little better in this trailer, especially Khotun Khan.

It's wild to me that the announcement trailer for Ghost of Yotei has more views in a single day, than this announcement trailer in the entire six years of it's existence.
Ghost of Tsushima was incredible, and this trailer was incredible.
I can't wait for Ghost of Yotei--and I hope with all my heart that it blows us all away.
The most striking thing about this trailer is that it isn't bombastic. It's rather low-key. No epic music, no dramatic explosions. But it just oozes style and the use of the "narrator" is wonderful. This gives me more hope that it will be good than anything they could have done. It sets the scene perfectly and I have confidence in Sucker Punch to deliver.
Finally!! I've been waiting my whole life for a samurai game like this!

I was hoping for a new Infamous game but this will do, looks so dope. Hopefully lives up to the hype and hopefully they're not done with Infamous yet!
The Guitarist Sucker Punch always only focuses on one Ip so if there is going to be a new Infamous game it won't be by Sucker Punch

I think Infamous is done, unless like the guy said before they give someone else permission to use their IP. A new IP by Sucker Punch seems refreshing and I can't wait to play this game, they only produce amazing top-notch quality games!

If you are looking for stealth action with Japanese/Samurai theme, take a look at Shinobido Series, is less popular than Tenchu, but much more polished. Works good on PC in PS2 & PSP emulators. Latest episode tho is availible only for PSVita
Except, it'll make AC look like child's play and blow it out of the water. Ubisoft decided where they stood, when they thought it was a good idea to make a desert simulator full of loot boxes and recycled areas.
