Nice trashing! One time while waiting for service 374, I saw a driver savagely redline a K230UB to its parking lot at Compassvale Int (I think the speed must have been 50kph.) then the Bus Captain run out of the bus and made a mad dash for the toilet.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Enjoyed the CDGE thrashing video and brought back some memories of me on the CDGE! I also saw a driver savagely redline a B9TL on service 161 last year while on SLE on they way to Sengkang (cuz I was sitting on the lower deck and kapohed on the speedometer) :))))
Now no more perm CDGES B9TL on 174😭And we only have about 3-4 months left till 2023, theres a chance the remaining 22 will be removed from revenue service just like the 144 in Jan 2022🙁And considering how a number of MAN A22 E5 & E6 from LTA Storage was recently relocated to Ulu Pandan Depot makes me feel more KUBS will be retired early next year, the refurbished ones cause i dont think theres any unrefurbished ones left....starting with Batch 1 Euro IV KUBS & Possibly the Remaining CDGES😥 Also the B9TL CDGES really reminds me of the the B10TLS & our older late nwab buses cause of that old looking interior...idk something about the feel makes me nostagic. The bus does seems quite spacious on the upper floor and wider than its Wright counterparts
That departure ending was fire 🔥🔥

I saw 101 72 74 CDGE at Hougang
Nostalgic moment
Miss these buses when they are gone with orange and green colors seat
Ye I miss them too
Astonishing 😅. Here in England, our Volvo B9TLs have the ZF Ecolife gearbox instead of the ZF Ecomat. The performance levels are quite different 😂
Oh actually quite a lot of Singapore's B9TL's have ecolife, this is one of the rarer ecomats from 2006 😅
This will mostly likely have a D9A Euro 3 rather than the D9B Euro 4/5 very rare the earlier B9TL.
Are all of them scrapped now or are there some still in service td?
There are still a handful left in service. 20 I think
22 CDGEs are left
OMG the sound
