Engine still breaking in, ran a little rich on this flight. Sorry for the zoomed-out shooting (last-minute thought with my 12-year-old recording on a phone).
Nice plane I know this is an old video but recently I lost mine completely, due to a loss of signal of unknown reasons I lost my entire spit only saved the electronics and engine and retracts lol, so sad I didn't even get to enjoy the plane more than 10 flights oh well , its the risk we take on this hobby. Unfortanely Phoenix doesn't make the plane anymore because I was about to order another but found Tower discontinued the plane. Instead got myself a Seagull Giant Zero and will be flying with all of the spits old electronics and engine hopefully no failures this time .
Other than the slow roll rate, she flies like a Goldberg Tiger 60. In a 10 kt. headwind, she'll nearly stand still. I tried stall tests, but with a new engine, I was more afraid of stalling the powerplant than the wing. There should be another (bad) video of the slow-flight on here.

Buen vuelo amigo saludos desde Murcia ✈🤝🏼✈
Pretty neat, you are a brave man flying that on a DX.
Why
A DX is a full range radio!
I’m following you on rcgroups.... do you think a DA50 would fly her? I’m considering getting one after watching your build and video...
This is probably going to be my next plane. How was it on landing, and did it seem to have any unfortunate quirks in the air?

I’ve been flying mine. It needed 1.5 pounds in the nose. My landings are still rough. Flies great in the air. Haven’t tested the flaps yet.
