"She's got a lot of gunshot wounds." Hell yeah she does. Cops lit her up like a Christmas tree and just kept shooting until the threat was neutralized. Why these people think they can draw on and shoot at a cop and get away with it is baffling. How often do people get away clean? Almost NEVER. They end up in jail or dead 99.99% of the time. They think this is some kind of game.
Most people view there life as nothing more than a game sadly.
It shows more on public metal health issues in America.
there isn’t any justifiable thoughts to these actions.
To a cop or any life, doesn’t matter if there in uniform or naked. It’s a life…
She was neutralized 20 shots ago. This k oward shouldn't be an officer.
@@firstname5510 I say give the officer a medal. She shot first and the cop ended the threat. It was entirely justified. ;-)
I think that threat was past Neutralized
@@Warhat1 You think that because you are a ko ward yourself.
You can tell his ability as a leader through how direct, attentive and polite he is with his colleagues.
lol "leader" more like a guy trying to cover his azsp. he was angry she shot at him. he knew he went to far with return fire. anything to make him look like a good guy.
@@pearlrival3124 when you shoot at a cop you get as many bullets as they want.
@@pearlrival3124 Troll. She was still reaching for the gun, troll. Watch the EVIDENCE in front of you. Your ass would have kept shooting too. She was moving to kill. The girl was still trying to shoot at them until the end. You are NOT helping. Acknowledge Police are not the entire problem.

@@robertmiller2711 what narrative? tell you what bobby next time you are dealing with a suspect in a live fire situation put 7 rounds in them and reload and throw 4 more. watch and see what happens to the world around you.
It is massively under appreciated how intense and stressful these situations are. Restraint and control is a huge sign of professionalism- that absolutely does not come naturally.
Restraint??? No need to shoot that many times. She was down. A young lady was shot down like a dog in the alley and you people applaud this? Sickening.
@@Dgmstudios40a young lady was shooting at a cop who wasn’t even interacting with her physically yet. Did you just black out during that portion?
In her head she probably thought she'd pop off a few rounds and run the hell out of there. Real life is different

@Onna Sweet Ginger Rose They took 30 shots and scored 15 hits.
I've gotta give props to blue shirt guy for being cooperative and not running off when bullets started flying. Especially being with someone like this.
it literally looked like she gunned him down at first i was like GOD DAMN
@@bloppyBloop same thought she shot him. He just got down or the cop threw him down I’m not sure. Then stayed there. He coulda dipped in the confusion.
Props on the officer for pulling him back out of the line of fire too
I don’t see anything wrong with the officers actions. Complete hero if you ask me.
OK I asked you is he a hero
She got everything coming to her. People like her shouldn’t be in our society.
She’s not…
I'll say, that is not how I expected it to go down.
Good awareness, good control, and great command presence. This officer did a great job, and this encounter went pretty well all things considered.
@@Body_Model do you not understand how someone can still be a threat on the ground if they have a gun in their hand?
That was literally done flawlessly in every way, well done boys. Much respect to your training.
it really wasn't this was completely and utterly unjustified, those last shots are going to end his career.
This officer is on top of his game. I hope he has a long successful career. We need more like him
Wow yeah that’s what we need
Drops a whole mag and more into her “roll over” 😂😂
Youd be surprised how many bullets people can take and still be conscious and capable.
This officer’s ability to think clearly under stress and give directions to everyone around him to secure the situation was really impressive.
@@Body_Model the body was still moving & most importantly still had a gun in her hand & pointed at him. Unfortunately if I had to make an assumption it would be I think she didn't have any business having a gun& accidentally shot herself when running off.
@Troy It’s tough, I can’t see in the video where the woman’s gun was when he kept shooting. There is a problem with police shooting unarmed people (especially minorities), but in this case, she not only had a gun on her but had already shot at the officer. Unless the gun was clearly visible on the ground away from her body, I don’t think I can second guess the decision to keep shooting in this situation.
@@Body_Model she needed to get another magazine emptied on her. Fucking criminal.
Much respect to law enforcement officers. Great job 👏🏽.
Like. A. Boss! I wish all our LEOs were as competent and on the ball as this guy.
People who ignore commands and then shoot at you deserve no quarter. I wish the officers involved in this peace.
That one caught me off guard I was expecting the guy to pull a gun out not the female it’s a sad reality but she made her own decision by firing 1st
She died doing what she loved doing most!
Has been known for many years... The female will carry weapons &drugs or whatever the male does not want to be caught having on his possession. Let her take the fall. Considered as 'As her Loyalty'. smh
Yup sad af man
My experiences with Denver Police officers has always impressed me.
Very professional
That was the most unexpected shootout I’ve ever seen
Name a better channel on RUclips. My father and I literally talk about how we use lessons from this channel in our day to day lives. We talk about not sitting in transitional spaces, being mindful of our surroundings, and how we can train to be better. John, I hope you know your videos effect how I cover my ASP day to day
I teach people these lessons all the time. Sadly most of them do not listen. We had over 20 incidents reported from noon to midnight last night here in Tucson. Car jackings, shootings, stabbings, baseball bat vs crowbar fight, weirdo with a machete and so many more. My coworkers all drive with a phone in one hand, music blasting, doors unlocked completely unarmed their tools are in a backpack or under a seat. It's sad how many willing victims we live with.
I agree 100%! So glad I found this channel. Thank you John and Mike, God bless, brothers!
Amazing father
Facts
@@46993-r easy prey makes predators more prevalent, in nature and in society. Criminals are like an invasive species and easy targets are what draws them in. There's a reason we have the saying " an armed society is a polite society". It's not victim blaming if they are the reason they were attacked. This peaceful utopia you wish for is currently out of reach. Our species is still young, we have very very violent roots and that has done us well in the past when we were not the top of the food chain. Maybe, hopefully one day, evolution will weed out all the predators but until then, stop looking like an easy meal and protect your life. If we're ever going to reach that utopia, we need genes like yours to prosper in order to get us there
Love the commentary. I watch you once a week, when I need a dose of reality. Thanks for keeping it real.
I used to live two blocks away from Colfax and Perry. My grandpa owned a house off of Newton in Colfax up until 2007. It's so weird seeing that location on this channel and not surprising at the same time. It makes sense on how many bad things have happened in that area.
I'm glad you didn't blur the perp on the ground like a mainstream news channel would, which is why I highly respect ASP for this type of content. Obviously we hate to see a woman lose her life like this, but she knew what she was doing. She was reaching in her purse for the gun as soon as she got out of that car and fired for no reason at all. I don't see why this outcome was preferable to her than going to jail for a few drug/gun charges. Unfortunately she decided to take the 7-11 asphalt temperature challenge. The officer did what he had to do with an armed suspect that was clearly willing and able to cause seriously bodily harm to police.
He’s definitely ex military. It’s clear by the way he communicated on comms and by the fact that the lines between a enemy combatant and civilian were kind of blurred in this one
That is so scary, she could of been lucky and actually hit him. Going up to a stop and not knowing how many people and which one of them might try to kill you. This guy risks his life protecting the peace. God bless.
Hey JC. I love how you FINALLY mentioned some of the best lights. I personally know which are best and I think Streamlight is the best but many people do not. It's also nice to know I made a good choice.
That's a clean shoot. I don't question those last 3.
Used to live off of Colfax back in 2015. Some good and bad areas. But it’s sad to see I recognize the layout of this gas station. Glad the officers made it that was some very quick reaction considering how little time there was to react.
Why is it sad you recognize the place? It's fucking Denver. Pretty popular city. This shit happens everywhere.
@@PermaJeff damn that little comment got you that worked up? Laughable
@@MarcussJay yeah 😞
So if I encountered an armed home invader and shot that person 15 plus times (but hitting him 15 times) I'm pretty sure I would go to jail. Maybe prison. It could be considered "excessive force", correct? I live here in AZ. I'm only allowed to "stop the threat" yet these officers can empty their mags, reload and keep shooting? That's messed up!
On top of what you stated, that one cop fired multiple rounds into her while she was laying on the ground motionless. About your point of being put in prison if you did this: Yes, in all probability a typical jury would be unable to understand the need for you to shoot someone 15 times and you'd likely be serving time. Especially if the prosecution had evidence that the trajectory of your rounds indicate you shot them while they were laying on the ground. There are instances where very tough criminals can take multiple hits from a 9mm and keep coming. However, this woman was far from being at that level. She looked like she went down instantly.
@@cgsimons1187 It’s even worse: the woman was _already_ motionless on the ground, having shot _herself_ before anyone started their mag-dump.
@@sfckrbec Good point, thank you!
100% correct
I'm with you on this one, we just witnessed a cop going from self defense to possibly murder!, but everyone is high fiving each other, not even caring that another human being was just killed in front of our very own eyes, no empathy!, yes she was wrong to shoot toward the cop, but you MUST STOP once you're no longer in danger for God sakes, where's the "Moral, Sover, honest. Prudent ppl in this cop like ASP says we should be!,
If this happened in Canada 🇨🇦 holy crap the cop would have been charged with murder . You Americans are so lucky to have cops like this . Our parole board would have letter off easy if she survived
Damn this one was right by my house. Fucking crazy. Denver PD is a very diligent and upstanding agency. I love our police force 👍
First time I see anything positive being said about Denver police 🤣🤣
OMG is he crazy. He's shooting at her while she lying on the ground. The severity of her injuries may not allow her to comply with his ridiculous orders. After she went down she posed no threat to him or others. Clearly he peed his pants. Now they're going to handcuff a dead person.
You are one of the few whom are intelligent enough to see that the first 5 rounds was more than likely enough, the rest was adrenaline & lack of control!
Thank You!!!!
I agree she was out of the fight. She could have possibly been saved after, but that cop decided to empty his clip. Was not necessary. I scrolled down a lot of comments and this is only one so far to criticize the officer.
Agree. The cop was justified to shoot, but not to keep shooting the threat was stopped I think the cop took it personal he was mad
Give that guy some more rank, natural leader.
I imagine the guy who was handcuffed saw the whole thing and now is a changed man 😂
I used to work nights at a gas station that had pumps specifically for EMS and Cops, and late at night SO MANY people came in not knowing they were at the cop’s gas station, and they’d be drunk, or buying drugs, or passed out OD’d behind the wheel at the pump. I saw SO much drama there!!
Society is not heading in the right direction.
He has a future in upper ranks of command if he so chooses if this is how he always handles himself. This officer straight up commanded and directed the situation beautifully.
Excellent protection of the community officer absolutely excellent.
"Take the cuffs off her." Ya think?!! After you mag dumped on her?!!!
That was intense... there was a police shootout a couple weeks ago in Aurora, CO when a suspect shot people in a church and went on a crime spree. Can you cover that once the footage comes out?
In Lakewood too...about a month ago. Some tattoo owners shot, then they went to hotel in Belmar. Lady cop shot but took them out. My step nephew is Lakewood PD. Horrible its now there too...I lived 2 blocks away.
Denver has been pretty gnarly the past couple of years.
30 shots between two cops with 15 hits on one target. This is why mag cap limits on Joe Citizen is bull crap, especially if Joe Citizen is defending his family from multiple home invaders.
That's why it's a good thing magazine "kits" are still legal to buy in CO.
I hope he is called on for helping train others. Being calm is so difficult in these situations and he's got it down cold. It matters to bystanders too, who don't get bent out of shape and add to a crisis when someone like this is showing self control.
My only question is how do LEOs expect people to follow orders after being lit up
If you're still alive you can follow orders
“Roll to your side!” Well she can’t officer. You dumped two mags in her like 5 seconds ago
Dude in blue shirt complied far beyond someone who is guilty of something.... Anyone guilty would've ran the opposite way
Yeah, he knew the lass had the weapons and possibly the dope
You may know where you are. God may know where you are. If your dispatcher doesn’t know where you are, you better have a good relationship with God. Emergency service comms personnel are unsung heroes.
Great inter officer and radio comms. Must be trained and exercised. Overcoming auditory exclusion and tunnel vision are marks of a pro. I really appreciate the post incident check for holes in the good guys. I have discovered much damage long after the incident due to adrenal high. I am done with my cape and damned glad there are men and women like this protecting me.
Maybe I’m misreading the footage, but I don’t think the dude in the blue shirt was cuffed and the fact that the officer just asked him what’s in your pocket kind of made my teeth itch since now he’s behind the officer.
Johns teeth itch a lot too.
I like the expressionless way Mike looks at the camera when John’s rabbitin’
Another marvelous day on the force!! Good job. Cops did their job for once.
Do you even watch the video? The guy near the car was not cuffed or secured. He could have ran or go into the car
Great video commentary. Side note, I thought one of the “opportunities for improvement“ called out would’ve been when the officer ducked behind the trash receptacle and then stepped back into the fight at his original location. We always hear don’t pop out where the suspect last saw you. At any rate, the officer did an exceptional job.
Honestly this young lady brought this tragedy upon herself and her family. The moment I saw the wounds on her chest I already knew she wasnt gonna make it she most likely died that moment
thank you for not blurring or freezing the screen
Down and out are 2 different things... can’t be too safe when your life and the safety of the public is on the line.
Of course it would be in Lakewood and of course it would be at the 7-11 my mom used to work at when I was in middle school
This reminds me of the lyrics to the Bon Jovi song "Blaze of Glory." "I'm goin' down in a blaze of glory." I have no problem with this sudden lead poisoning incident.
What does it mean please ? Thanks
Reloads is very important I work at the best holster company and I'll watch TV and practice reloads mags and wheel guns you don't want to get killed from a lack of shooting back

The response time was very quick.
After those three last shots - We need an ambulance, followed by Roll over, roll to your side... Are you serious my guy? 😂
Really, you don’t think going for another clip wasn’t excessive?
“But, she’s still moving”
Yeah, every time another round goes through
EXACTLY... After he shot her multiple times and she was down he was no longer shooting because his life was an immediate danger he was shooting with the intention to kill her.... The second clip he unloaded on her was far beyond unnecessary and every honest person knows it.
@@punkjake headshots aren't the only thing that kills.
Great comms. Once, I was in pursuit and the dispatcher later told me she thought I was kidding at first because I sounded calm. Not every time, just when I was older.
Calm is a super power!
Perfect example of why the "defund the police" movement is an absurd idea
MOST cops aren't like this man. Good cops need to be commended and Bad cops need to be reprimanded and or removed.
Bet you’re the type that think police can do no wrong right? You’ll be talking about defund the police until you’re 80 right? Sheesh.

No, if somebody has a gun and is willing to shoot then that person is a thread.
You shoot until the treat is neutralized, which means the gun is out of her hand or she being dead or incapacitated.
This was perfect conduct of the cop

Xtra 3 shots when she’s down was unnecessary. Arresting a dead chick was unnecessary as well.
One could say, that the Waste Connection company are very grateful for this video.
My biggest question is, how does that cop have the right to detain everyone at the 7-11?
The vehicle was involved in a crime the night before is what the cop said
I think he was more focused on the "everyone" part of his question, because there might be people in there that are obviously not involved, like an elderly citizen with their grandchild getting a snack. But yeah, I know the officer was just handling the situation and couldnt see in the store and since the guy has mentioned that someone was inside 7 eleven, then he wanted to make sure they didn't get away.
It's a crime scene bro, that's how it works.
@Broseph Bralin I'm talking about all the other uninvolved people in the store. The cop said to hold "everyone".
@@EM-fi2qg lol what do you want him to say? Only hold the people that are involved when they don’t even know who’s in the store, let alone involved……

You know, the best players and coaches watch film of themselves and others to improve. I’m sure it frustrates those that don’t and are stuck at their current level of skill and understanding.
It blows my mind that people are more willing to trade shots with trained killers than answer some questions and deal with the consequences of their actions

Sorry he did not need to empty his magazine into someone curled up on the ground. She was no threat to him at this point. Sometimes this channel celebrates the worst excesses in law enforcement.
@@Body_Model How do you figure that? After about 20 shots she was still actively moving. How were the officers supposed to know how many shots connected, or if she was truly subdued? If you actually pay attention to those final shots, 2 of them cause her arm to violently sway in an upward motion potentially removing the gun from her hand. So how do you truly know that she wouldn't have continued to shoot if not for those final shots?
You guys ALWAYS come out of the woodwork like this, but you never once lay blame on the people who are committing the crime. Guess what? She wouldn't have been shot even a single time had she not fired first. Maybe, just maybe she should have grew a fucking spine, took some self accountability and took the charges for the crimes she had committed days prior.

I grew up in that neighbor hood. That part of Colfax is very seedy. Mostly a Hasidic Jewish neighborhood to the north/northwest, mostly Mexican to the South. There is a bathhouse(possibly gay) and an adult theater across the street. Also an elementary school and library around the corner. Mile high stadium is a few block(about a mile and a half) down the road.
I drive a Jeep Patriot and got pulled over 2 minutes away from my house because my car matched one for a hit and run. Glad I pulled over and just listened to what the officer had to say and did what I was told. Got home 10 minutes later than I would’ve normally and had no issues.
Okaaay those last 3 shots were personal
She wasn't up and the last barrage was overkill. You could even hear it in Mike and John's voices when they were trying to justify it....they knew it was too much.
when you recommend a product, please post the name, if not the location for purchase. I want to get a really bright flashlight as you spoke about here,
I used to live a block from there about 15yrs ago. One night I heard a gunshot and sirens. Walked outside and saw an ambulance and a dead body outside of my garage. Walking down that alley and almost getting mugged was the main reason I got my conceal carry permit.
That was murder at the end. Though I understand. She started it. He finished it. This is generally tolerated for police unless the suspect is the privileged minority that "matters."
She probably would have died anyway. I hate to see any loss of life. But yeah , just like that G. Floyd situation. He probably ingested so much drugs , he was going to die anyway to.

I’m not trying to “one up” anyone. Both of the hosts of ASP are far better versed and much more experienced than I.
I’ll simply point out, Willever’s comments on the suspect in the blue being put to the ground bc the officer had already cuffed him is an inaccurate statement. I’m sure of if bc the guy in the blue shirt is cuffed after the shooting.
Just my observation, thank you both for sharing your wisdom and experience.
So keep shooting even though the threat is neutralize? Look to me like she was done 10 rounds ago. How the hell do you miss so many shots that closes anyway? Cop look like he enjoyed that. Dude needs to learn his fourth amendment rights. Never understand why people let cops search based on a hunch. She had no idea what she was doing with that thing. So sad🐷🐷🐷
I just pumped air soon after this altercation at the same air pump ath this gas station… shit crazy for sure
I noticed the officer’s wedding ring and am glad he gets to go home to his family after this encounter.
That’s a lot of ketchup, she must’ve dropped a hot dog or something
Say what you want but those last few shots were personal.
*_ASP has CROPPED THIS VIDEO. If you go slow, you can see the other officer at video time marker _**_2:06_**_ positioned just at the corner of the building behind the telephone pole. He started firing at the woman Several seconds BEFORE BWC video officer had moved to a firing position at marker _**_1:46_**_, and they both continued firing because she was still HOLDING HER GUN AND POINTING IT AT the officer._*
I am a little surprised at the cropping of the image, and that it seems to be LOWER RESOLUTION than the video as released by the department, available elsewhere without our hosts' helpful comments. I'm glad that the officer's eyesight is a hell of a lot better than this screen resolution.
There are plenty of incidents where a mortally wounded subject has been able to continue firing, KILLING several people before dropping dead.
