I have been avoiding Crossland/Grandland reviews as I have no intention of buying a car like this, but I gave this one a shot because I generally like your reviews. Apparently people like the idea of a car with more ground clearance and a higher sitting position than a normal car, ever if that means higher fuel consumption.
I own a Meriva B and was looking forward to Crossland X when it came out only to be bitterly disappointed. This car was designed in a meeting where they threw in a bunch of statistics of what average buyer expects and for it sacrificed one of the last cars with any bit of character. Just a shame ...
Am the opel fan I south africa and opel is the only brand am buying. I just don't feel this car quite narrow and looks weird from behind. If it was bit wider maybe I would love it. I still prefer it over the ecoosport though. I think I love the mokka more.
Nice review. I bought a car last summer, and crossland x was on the list of possible choices but I did not like the peugeot petrol engines and somehow the car looks too "narrow" for me. I went with an suzuki scross 1.4t awd at (it does help that in Hungary Suzuki is way cheaper then in western europe I got it in mid trim which already had full led head lamps for under 19k euro). As for the nice places in Poland you mentioned. I was in Krakow last summer with family and I liked it very much, and I consider going back for a longer 7-10 day trip. Whic cities or areas would you recommend for a family trip in south poland?
Definitely Wroclaw, Zakopane (but I'd stay away during peak season). From there you can drive around smaller towns, but I'd recommend staying in larger cities.
Pan Marek, can You give more tech specs for future presentations- like engines and gears available? Another point- would You show dash board and dials more longer- let say 10-15 secs? See nothing this time/ Thanks
The car has a loud drive train with a constant annoying hum The first gear is very low and needs to be revved hard to move off and it crashes hard over potholes or speed humps But it looks nice.
What could go wrong with a PSA/Opel/GM parts sourced, average engineered mini-bland made in Spain The statement at the end is spot on, who actually wants these cars and why?

An arm rest should never interfere with the handbrake. Insane design. I will rent this car next week. Wish I had checked your review before booking.

I agree this car feels like it has been over engineer within an inch of its life .
It's not fun to drive or live with.
Am I the only one who did not understand the problem of the HUD?
Sound. It's much louder in real life, than I managed to capture with my mic.
German Gramatikov yes, you are the only one.
HUD shown road signs? Something was flashing red on the HUD......
That's GoPro LED reflection.
It shows speed and sat nav. When cruise control is on it also shows that.
I'd say that the plastic "glass" is nasty and annoying by itself.

Space is everything - liked Meriva but because unavailable no Opel option left, finally bought 2018 Sportsvan
Sportsvan is a brilliant car.
Hi, Marek. I see you have reviewed almost all small crossovers. When can we see a ranking or top lists?

Thx, they got a star on my google map :)

There's nothing to show :)
But OK, I'll take it into consideration.
Thanks
People considering this car should test drive an S-Cross. Avoid the top trim though, all the extras are annoying as hell.
Good review ...

I was in Cracow last week of November and I didn't see any drunks of any nationality!
It’s better than the Peugeot 2008
I have a Crossover but I never driven a minivan or van.
Verv good car.It is a good jeeb
Do you not drive around with handbrake down for armrest 😂😂
0:47 the alloy wheels randomly look like the swastika....
this review from poland or from uk.. didn't get it
It's from Poland But He Reviews It In English, There's Also A Polish Review Version
Typowe, przecież każdy jeździ z zaciągniętym ręcznym i rozłożonym podłokietnikiem
Men can't drive this. Simply they just can't. I would be sick if I was forced to.
It can be said for the majority of x-over!
Gabriele Z I agree. Crossovers are for pussies. Get a car, truck, or even proper suv, none of this girly crossover crap that’s flooding the market.
Why do they put annoyingly underpowered engines in cars? 85bhp? Lawnmower!
Wroclaw? God i hated it. No body smiles as if it's illegal 😊. Unlike Krakow i loved it alot people are amazing and friendly.
This is supermarket brand vanilla ice-cream, why?
No more suv
You're in luck, because next Friday I don't have an SUV lined up :)
Another underpowered boring SUV. Neat
That petrol cap... ! This is the ugliest car I've seen in quite some time!
The rims look like a swastika 😒
More like an X, as in Crossland X.
Very bland inside on the dash. You would expect this kind of bland dash on something like a Dacia, not a well known brand like Vauxhall
Cırt
I didn't buy guess why? Yes the STUPID ARM REST😡😡😡😡
Sorry but I find this a butt ugly car
