For me: 1. Arrival 2. Raised On Radio 3. Departure 4. Generations 5. Frontiers 6. Infinity 7. Revelation 8. Escape 9. Freedom 10. Journey 11. Next 12. Evolution 13. Eclipse 14. Look into the Future 15. Trial By Fire
Mr. Hens is back… NICE! I gotcha beat, Joey. I remember hearing the two big hits from Infinity on FM rock radio in 1978. I also recall purchasing the first three Perry/Rolie albums from an old “frenemy” of mine, on used vinyl. (They all played perfectly, by the way.) That era is my fave, without giving away too much more of my rankings. 😉 Thank Moses ya mentioned the deep dive Davey favey track “People and Places,” Joey. That track friggin’ RULES! Same with Mr. Hens mentioning “Edge of the Blade,” another fave rave Davey track of mine. Neal’s man riff is sick bro, just wish it was a bit higher in the overall mix. Big ups to Mr. Hens for giving props to the phenomenal guitar playing skills of Neal Schon. The cat can blaze, but is ALWAYS tasty. In my book Schon is akin to Steve Lukather, another awesome guitarist. Both dudes can play any style of music, yet always play for the song. Mr. H. mentioned “People and Places,” too… Whoot Whoot!! That’s mah jam, men. Now that Señor Hens said his numero uno, I’ll only say my list is closer to his than to Joey’s list. Sorry Joseph, that’s the way the bagel 🥯 gets devoured. 😂 Keep up the groovilicious, nutritious and delicious work, men. Cheers from Queens Noo Yawk, ova heyah. Rock Out & Prog On… in all lexicons! Frog 🐸 On! Your pal and mine, ~ The Devastatingly Daviest Davey Cretin of dem all! 😊
Raised On Radio at 14? What? That album is fantastic. The best period of Journey is 78 to 86. Generations is my least favourite. Eclipse is my best post 86 one
@@JCStorm76 I love the instrumentation - I regularly listen to Journey's self-titled debut, Future..., & Next, & my favorite is Frontiers. I love the "rock", but I also like it to be paired with memorable hooks & melodies, & those are lacking there.
5 - Departure
4 -Infinity
3 - Raised On Radio
2 - Escape
1 - Frontiers

Generations is mid, but Eclipse is one of their worst in my book. Sitting right down there with Trial by Fire.
@@SaintLewisMusic Maybe you just don’t like the more rocking Journey?

@@SaintLewisMusic Anyway my original point was mainly about Raised on Radio. Number 14 is just nuts
@@JCStorm76 oh, absolutely AGREE with that!
