If you guys take away anything from that run its that upgrading tools and weapons is a must.
true, although best way is trading for high level tools/weapons with the villagers at the start, saves you about 3-4 Days of Grinding.
Really. Cause what I took away from that run is that this game is bullshit and no one who isn't making RUclips videos for pure entertainment should play it.
@@chriswhinery925 nah, if you do it right winning without taking damage even once is possible (although not making a single mistake is really hard, but there are people who can play some games blind from start to finish from pure memory so with enough time and practise it is very much doable) in fact you don't want to get hit even once by some of the latter boss mobs as they can quite easily oneshot you.
There are some people who already have done so, although my guess is that most of em used cheats (i can't see a group of 8 players winning without even once taking damgage, then again playing with 8 really good players might make the game easier then solo would)
I'll agree though that it's hard to get into and can get booring if you play alone.
@@chriswhinery925 it's all in the power ups I reckon. You need to get as many as you can to keep up with how powerful the monsters get. Playing with a bunch of mates, by night 10 we are normally stacking 30 to 40 power ups each haha.

i add also shorter days. to me thats the worst part like when u die u barely get time to find ur gear before ur back at it........
On which note, I wish they'd do a horde every night 7 days, might be at their capability level... unlike this

This is much worse than 7D2D with every night horde. At least in 7D2D you have time to breathe during the day and actually get something accomplished.

@@jbeahaha it hardly is impossible, although some of the archievments are almost impossible. It just takes a bit figuring out but i soloed the game on normal after figuring out the right strategie.

I've never played this, but based off what I can tell. Beat strategy seems to be Step 1: Get lucky with a spawn and find a village. Step 2: only collect materials during the day and have them cooking while you fight at night. Step 3: Craft new items in the morning while the others repeat Step 1. Also finally, the spawning seems like it works by spawning the creatures close to you, but without spawning in view of anyone (kinda like your car will do in GTA5) so if they've got their back to a source of water it should limit one angle/flank the creatures can spawn from (unless they spawn in the water.)
Totally agree that the enemies either need to be very low on health during the day or just die in the sun. Also, items on death should go into a chest, like in "Satisfactory", inside of stupidly scattering to the four winds.

Would love to see more. Couple ideas, build a few poles around or something else so the monsters attack them instead of your buildings. Also try fighting them away from the house not at it.

The day night cycle is way too fast, and once you start using precious daylight time to finish off stragglers, revive teammates and collect your scattered items instead of amassing resources, upgrading gear and stockpiling food, you know it’s just a few cycles before you are overrun.
This is a "wave" game disguised as a survival game disguised as a resource management game and they fell for it

The progression is fast - you need to be advancing in your tools and weapons. Gold is bet made into coins and not gear - spend the coins ( on chests ) when you got them!

If I had to guess, not having played the game mind you... seems like they hit a ceiling they didn't know existed. They hit steel and then... stopped, and started to get overwhelmed again. But... here's a game where falling behind the curve is unsalvageable...
That said, really fun to watch ^^ can you only have three players? I'd just... love to see Simon join you, but maybe you need to get used to the current difficulty before turning it up a notch?
Use the games melee mechanics to your advantage, you dont need to be beside the enemy to hit them with an axe. It was night 2 going into day 3 aprso

You guys need to move on from steel and iron, blue rocks are mithril and green are adamantine and so on everything gets better but you have to keep moving get to the mithril by night 4 or 5
isnt it easier just to run about and not fight at night.. like far away from the house so they dont damage the house... and when morning comes, run back home? or would enemies follow you home?

Game is pretty good. But your kind of localized in the traveling department because the days are too quick. If you slow the days down it makes way better gameplay.

I live in Seattle. We have a new hockey arena climate pledge arena. Im not kidding i dont know how to send thw pictutre cept through discord. Ill give it my best try. But the arrows to the bathrooms and exits. Is a sideways thick 44 sign. When i went to the game and saw it i totally fell to my knees and cried. But man warrior blessed my team and we won against the avalanche 3 to 1.
Man, that didn't feel like 50 minutes watching that. Guys did much better. Though question: are only 3 people allowed to play at a given time? Would love to see how Thick would fare in this game.

Omg guys. Please do keep trying, this is so fun to watch. I understand that it's chaos in there, but this is gold. Maybe try going to the cave neebs found early on so you can start off with better ores. 🤔 just a thought.
Those caves are used for quickly finding ores and collecting rubies you need for the boat. You can use it for general mining, but it's kinda useless to mine for materials.

Guys, you need move to another level of metals like obtanium and the others as you can. it is a good thing to have a full set armor but you need more damage and harvesting speed.

I hated how Neebs and Dora 9after respawning in the day before the last fight eating mushrooms and pickin their shit up while Appsro was like the only one getting better weapons (like a Mithril sword or bow opposed to the shitty steel one they've used for 15 rounds over)
