The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has strongly opposed the planned arrival of Hindu spiritual leader Jagadguru Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati at the Donyi Polo Airport, scheduled for 8:30 AM. The religious leader, arriving by chartered plane, is set to lead the controversial "Gau Dhwaj Yatra" (cow protection march), which aims to campaign against cow slaughter in the state.

Well written. I am a Christian living in West Bengal where cows are allowed to be slaughtered for beef consumption. We do not accept cows as our mothers. We have human mothers. So if anyone does not want to consume beef so be it, no one should be forced to. In fact some Hindus, all Muslims and tribals and schedule castes also eat and enjoy beef. How come UP is the highest exporter of beef that too by Hindus

But with time the demography is changing, people of other tribes and different religions, language and culture are coming to Northeast having different custom tradition and food habit. people of north east have right to follow their culture as well as hindus too in a secular India.
