This reminds me of KitKat bars. The filling between the wafers of each bar is made from the broken, recycled rejects of the batches earlier in the week or month or something. There's a belief that it's an unbroken chain of recycled Kit Kats going back years and years, but there's no goddamn way that would be foodsafe.
Not at all. The soap doesn’t ooze or seep out fragrance or anything like that. The fragrance remains in the soap. If anything your nose is what will need to adjust when fragrances are next to each other
All ingredients for my soaps are the same (with some exceptions and those don’t get shaved into my bucket) and listed on the website and on the labels ❤ On the thank you card I write the name of the sample so they know 😊
When I wear gloves, I would be touching multiple surfaces without thinking about it because I can’t feel my fingertips. And I also just wipe my gloves, not wash them. When I don’t wear gloves I can feel my fingertips and will wash my hands when I have a bunch of little soap pieces stuck to them. I end up washing my hands after shaving about 15 soaps. And when I touch other surfaces I feel more conscious about it on my bare hands and wash my hands after touching things. My hands are most definitely cleaner than my gloves.
they look like erasers could you possibly make eraser soap or school supply soap? They’ll be really weirdly cool I’m sorry for that but the bars just look like erasers almost
Love the name but you pronounced it wrong if its the goddess, not trying to be rude but there may be other wiccans or pagans that would hear that and get all defensive. Its pronounced heck-uh-tay.
Yes Hekate/Hecate.... MOST PROLIFIC GODDESS of the light the way the journey, keeper of keys, the torch bearer the crone, the mother, the goddess of witches and women, child birth, keeper of the cross roads and wayward souls.... acceptable offerings are LAVENDER cinnamon jasmine (insert scent here)..... I heard of this thing called the internet where you can search who Hekate is and what is acceptable. It's rather offensive. But I have all faith she will make sure this is handled.... so mote it be🌌
I love what your doing. ❤ HEKATE however..... I don't think she would be too happy knowing she's the "scraps" of your work. Nor is peach bellini bikini anywhere near anything honoring her.... please do your research before using a mighty goddess name. It is the same thing as naming something anti christian after Jesus and then trying to sell them to a catholic church.... #keepingherkeys please chime in.
You know when she used her torches to help Demeter find Persephone? Or when she went to the underworld to help Persephone get more comfortable in her new home. Or helped guide Persephone back to the upper world. Her torches making light in the darkness. The colorful pieces in the black soap make me think of that. And peaches represent safeguard health 😁❤️
Do you say Hek-it, I’ve heard it that way too. But I was taught Greek words ending in E is pronounced with a long E. Like Persephone. Per-sef-o-nee. And I just googled it and heard it pronounced Hek-uh-tee, the way I say it.
@@jackiieeeeeThat’s certainly some fun flare at the end of the name 😁 But you’ll see in other names the long E sound. Aphroditeee, Hadeees, Hermeees, Demeeeter, Areees. I’ve been studying, researching, and retelling Greek mythology stories for years
@GildedShimmerSoaps so you researched for years but still can't pronounce her name? She's the goddess that I worship, please remember that this is apart people's religion and ignorance isn't respectful
@@jodieisnotokay The long e is how her name is pronounced 🤷🏻♀️ aye sound is also correct, but I was taught the long e which is still correct. Just like Nike is both Nye-kee and Knee-Kay; either are correct, just depends on your dialect
"Do you wanna come over and help me shave soap?"
"Sure bro, I'll be right over"
Accurate 😅
@@GildedShimmerSoaps honestly, I'd probably come over to shave soap if one of my friends asked me too lol
@@scourge1124same!!! Sounds kinda fun!!!
Take the black shavings and put them im white soap for white soap with black confetti
Ooh!!! I want to try this
I love comments like this because they unlock more creative ideas!!
Not me thinking that the little shavings are what she gave to people 😂

stingy samples 😂
No she would give those small rectangular shaped soaps for samples , I don’t know why u guys would call her stingy

I love that you do sample packs, because that's right up my alley :) and the confetti is too cute
Oh my God! I would love to be that friend who comes over to shave soap! So satisfying.
Oh my godsss Hekate soap!! That's so cool!!!
I would 100% be the friend that asks "hey, can I come over and shave your soaps?"
Right that sounds so soothing, with a movie on and some snacks?
@@slithra227 you just described the perfect hangout plan for me!😂
Yeah I agree, 10/10 activity, and very clean!
All of you, come on over! I hate shaving the soaps 😅
@@GildedShimmerSoaps Would absolutely be one of my fave "pointless" hobbies. Just ✨ disassociate ✨ and bam, good fidget task.
The sample packs would make such cool gifts for people!
Fabulous idea!!🎉🎉🎉Hecate confeti soap. My daughter just introduced me to your channel! ❤
It looks great but wouldn't it be better if you used like clear base instead of black so these shavings could yk pop more...
This is cold process soap, clear soap is melt & pour
@@GildedShimmerSoaps ohh got it
I love the fact that you use every part!
Essentially no waste 🤗
i’ll be honest that does sound like a pretty chill hangout. if my friend wanted me to come over to cut up some soap and chat i’d be so down
Soaps look so beautiful 🎉
nooo I'm a day late! I just found you and I really wanted go place an order for the soap in this video! maybe next Friday I'll set an alarm
Next restock is March 15th 🫶 1pm cst
What a dream job. Shaving soap all day would be so nice.
If you go back and forth with the pealer you get more peals with less effort
The box of ends looks like my primary school teacher’s prize erasers🥺🥺

I feel like I would just sit there and shave a whole bar...it looks so relaxing to do 😅
First also I thought u gave ppl the little shaving lol
omg the confetti looks like bowling alley carpet lol
OMG YES THIS UNLOCKED A CORE MEMORY OF MY OLD ROLLER SKATING RINK
YES
Make a white confetti soap
Does the smell mix together in the new confetti soaps? Since all the soap shavings also have their own scents?
All you smell is the added Peach Bellini ❤️
Doesn't the fragrance of all soaps mix together when you store them together for samples ?
Not at all. The soap doesn’t ooze or seep out fragrance or anything like that. The fragrance remains in the soap. If anything your nose is what will need to adjust when fragrances are next to each other
Maybe it would be cool to make a soap out of the bigger sample pieces?
This is a great way to cut down on waste!
Do you have any unscented items??
Praise Hekate ❤❤
The soap confetti sounds cool but I get overstimulated with many different scents.
You only smell one fragrance, Peach Bellini 😁
They look like the funkiest erasers ever
Do you mix the soap shavings together with a lot of scents?
The shavings lose their fragrance. You only smell the peach ❤
How do make it
Do you weigh them before or after shaving them? Just a little curious
I weigh the soaps after shaving and after they’ve cured a few weeks ❤

Only lavender 😅
@GildedShimmerSoaps for me, it would have to be ginger or cinnamon that gives me a headache
For your sample sizes do you find they all end up smelling the same since they commingle?
Not at all 😊 the fragrance doesn’t seep in or transfer to other soaps
I have a goat Hecate.❤
Is this booth for the body tho like is this some special or just a regular soap like the other ones
All soaps are for hands and body, and soaps that are fragrance free or with essential oils can be used all over including hair ❤
Do you put like a slip saying what’s in the sample for people with allergies or who end up liking it and wanting to reorder? How’s that work
All ingredients for my soaps are the same (with some exceptions and those don’t get shaved into my bucket) and listed on the website and on the labels ❤
On the thank you card I write the name of the sample so they know 😊
Try grating it that should be way faster
Gloves or not necessary?
I’m not working with lye here, so I don’t need to protect my hands in this process
Gloves?
When I wear gloves, I would be touching multiple surfaces without thinking about it because I can’t feel my fingertips. And I also just wipe my gloves, not wash them.

The shavings are so small they don’t hold their fragrance. And the Peach Bellini is a strong fragrance and all you smell
Do those samples look like erasers to anyone else?
i want one you pick any pls

Ok but make a long asmr video of you doing that 😅
