You need some space to be able to scream for an hour or two without disturbing your neighbours. I always say the best way to learn is to get a microphone and an audio interface to plug it into. Find a decent preset for your mic and then sing through that with headphones on. You’ll learn how to scream and control your voice so much better that way than without it!
