mistranslation he wasn't saying they're missing "claw" Its grit he's talking about. he's saying the national team doesn't have the grit or passion to wear the shirt and that they should be embarrassed. he also recently said a lot of good things about vini, so it doesn't add up to why he would go public with this other than he's just tryna fuel the team to play better. This rendered many clashes between uptight-tactic-loving Coaches and those players (known as "Fantasistas"). So far so good. The problem started when Brazilian coaches in the kids' level at the clubs (Sub-13, Sub-14, all the way to Sub-20) started becoming those uptight-tactic-loving coaches, thinking they were "Guardiola" (training KIDS!) and punishing kids for attempting improvisation (Brazil's main weapon in football). I myself have witnessed a Sub-14 coach replace a kid for dribbling -- as the coach declared -- "in excess". So, there you go: a bunch of average mediocre players (with very few exceptions) in Brazil's squad. So, all in all, Ronaldinho is right.
Hope this causes the team to come together and play the beautiful game ,,,all the way to the findls and go on and win the ompetition...

Because of Neymar the new coach of Brazil was sacked in Santos. And today Neymar feels a threat of his position with Brazil while this coach is there. May be he will not be with the squad of 2026. Brazilian way of playing is not the same we enjoyed in 80's. a lot of people don't know that Brazil changed their way of playing the day they appointed Carlos alberto perreira. He just focused a result not a beautiful football. then Zagallo followed the same way. They won a lot therefore everyone was happy for the trophies but i did not see a beautiful football even the days of Ronaldinho. He was just playing his own way showing good skills and passing but as a team there were not a team but just stars. Because the issue is that the Brazilian league doesn’t pay well, the reason it’s better now than 10 years ago is because of the pay cuts, now they have more talented players, but everyone wants to go to Europe to get payed better. When they’re not good enough by their mid 20s & they’re still not good, they’d rather go to mls at least to get payed more.
It’s rare to play in the Brazilian league & get called up to the national team. Unless you’re super young, or a veteran that came back from europe.
