Unpopular opinion here but I never really liked the comedy track in Jalsa between Brahmanandam garu and PK. Why does he get slapped so many times..and how is that even funny anymore

I just remembered I think Suman Shetty scene (I'm not sure of the name sorry) he's hilarious in jayam, 7g brundavana colony and my fav ullasamga uthsahanga, it was too good, sometimes comedy feels forced sometimes it brings the movie forward

Bro I had same taught in my mind once telugu industry was top tier in comedy now it’s just some random double meaning dialogues , memes , single liners which I never laughed missing a good comedy movie where I can sit back and relive my stress 😢
I think if we could hit the sweet spot between the old comedy which was gold and the newer comedy that is more subtle and "not" demeaning and abusive towards the comedians like it was back then , I think comedy will prevail ! p.s : comedy is subjective
I don't know why comedy is comedians job now, we had venkatesh ravi teja, even chiranjeevi doing epic comical scenes. These generation actors somehow lack in timing and liberty. Now a days both actors and writers have to think too much to write and deliver punch line. But i somehow feel there is still scope for comedy in telugu cinema. TFI is just ignorant about comedy in movies.
In the past the source of visual content was only from Movies, TV. Now you have social media. Now the writers have to struggle to come up with original content. If they copy something that we have already seen and enjoyed from whatsapp forwards, it will go flat.

People watch stand up comedy with slap stick comedy and says it just a show but they take it personally if it is in a movie. The people are just thinking too much for watching a movie. There used to be a time when movies are integral part of our routine. Now it became a luxury for most of the people who cannot afford to watch a movie with a whole family. The top stars are concentrating on building pan india image and taking huge time but we telugu audience expect atleast one film every year from each star. Till bahubali mostly every star hero has a seperate comedy track but after bahubali they are just trying to impress everyone in the country so they are trying to integrate everything into one which is difficult for most of the time unless taken utmost care. I want our stars to make pure comedy film atleast every 3 movies even on a low budget and only telugu language. Hope Raaja saab bring back the glorious days of prabhas's comedy timing.

Athadu movielo comdey is a separate track only but when we see it as a complete movie it doesn't feel like a separate track that magic is missing nowadays.
Priyadarshi is my favourite actor nowadays, his versatility is excellent. If your movie is set in a rural backdrop, he can give you a Mallesham or a Balagam If your movie is set in a urban backdrop, he can give you Hi Nanna He even excelled in a father role in Save The Tigers webseries I really hope he becomes this generation's Rajendra Prasad
The people badly need a director with the essence of jandhyala , evv etc but they also need to work on their films in speed of the old puri Jagannath where he used to make 2-3 films every year with most efficiency

That was the time when a comedian was there for solely the purpose of comedy. Their entire characters and their involvement in the plot line were for the purpose of comedy. Now it’s actors doing comedy. Not comedians. They play an important role in the movie so the comedy they can do is limited. Only vennala Kishore is someone who still does comedy as a comedian. And maybe Sunil was the one who did both serious roles with comedy. And trying to ride on social media trends is very reductive.

Nenu theater lo chudaledu but I really liked Jathiratnalu comedy. So many people couldn’t understand the jokes in the movie because of accent/language
