Considering how low he can sing, it is really amazing how high he can sing! Delicious is the perfect word to describe his voice. He is amazingly talented and easy on the eyes!
I will be here for all things Geoff and Voiceplay!

GRR Martin described someone's voice in GoT as "honey poured over thunder". That's the perfect description of Geoff's voice.

    Great reaction.
    Geoff gave them each names.
    Left to right...
Jeff, Daryl, Geoff, Goff and Jeoph.
My favorite is Daryl with Jeff coming in a close second.
This was originally written and sung by Stan in 1948.
Covered many times by various country singers since.
Voiceplay has a couple New videos out...
In The Hall of The Mountain King.
    Hide and Seek (Ding Dong).
    You'll love Geoff in both.

Loved the reaction, and was wondering where it was. Being Geoff, I figured you'd jump on on this one sooner. Bad pun??? (in light of your banter which I always love too!)
    Mike: " 'Cause you're saucy."
    Me: Yep.

When she said, “I don’t know if I can handle five Geoffs,” I just thought, “But you’d have fun trying, wouldn’t you?”

Stan Jones wrote and performed it back in 1948. After that, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins (album that my dad had so I learned it from that one), Burl Ives all covered it. Geoff has mastered it complete with visuals! I think you have done Geoff's Way Down where his cosingers have name tags variations on Geoff, they added another name this time, Daryl. It made me think of the old Bob Newhart show where someone had a brother, Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl. Geoff can use that if he ever does 6 total Geoffs. It makes me smile.

I can remember Marty Robbins and Johnny Case covering this song. Then I heard Christopher Lee's cover and I didn't know that my favorite Vampire could sing. He took first place until I heard Geoff's cover. He now has the top spot and was instantly put on my Halloween playlist. Those Ice Blue contacts make them look like GOT Cowboy White Wakers, He named all the riders. L to R are Jeff, Daryl, himself, Goff, and Jeoph.

Christopher Lee was part of a heavy metal band and made a concept album about Charlemagne. That guy had way too much going on.

Love Geoff but, in 1949 both Vaughn Monroe and Burl Ives did versions of this song that gave me nightmares .... I was 6 or 7 when I first heard them (early '50s) ..... Vaughn was a singer /band leader with one of the most beautiful baritone voices ever ..... Burl was a folk singer who used to do a lot "kid" songs. His most popular song was "a little bitty tear(let me down)". He also was in the movies and his most famous role was "Big Daddy" in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Paul Newman and Liz Taylor. His version of Riders is the most haunting ... both versions are worth a listen and are on you tube.

Enjoyed that. I'm not attached to any previous version.
At 3:40, when four for them are looking at the one on the right doing the untra-low note, I half expected them to repeat the scene from "Trail of the Lonesome Pine", where Ollie whacks Stan with a mallet causing him to sing higher.

lol their are not many bass covers of the song out there. Besides Geoff, RUclipsr Dan Daniels, a basso profundo gospel singer and none other than Christopher Lee! Vaughn Monroe (first hit of this song) still my fav among low voices. When it comes to Cash like his duet with Willie Nelson the most. Only there he truly inserts emotion in it all through out, not just the "Yippee-yi-ay" part.
