There are other griddles out there that are as good as if not better than these typical BlackStone Pitt Boss types. I have the LeGriddle and love it. No pain in the butt seasoning, easy clean up. Has a cast iron patented plate under the stainless steel cooktop for more even cooking. I researched these usual supects before looking into stainless steel. Cooking surface/cast iron underplate has a lifetime warranty too.😉

I couldn't agree more. I have the Blue Rhino Razor 3-Burner and side by side with the same size Blackstone, it clearly outperforms.

I also have the Blackstone featured in this fine video. I love the thing. I've had it two years and find myself using this probably twice as much as my other grills, which include a Weber gas grill, two Weber kettle grills and a Brinkman smoker. Great review, by the way.

@@Aware.Consumer Awesome. I wanted to use it today, but we are heading out to Europe on Wednesday for over three weeks and we have to eat all the food I've made the past few days on the grills that is in the fridge. LOL.

Dumb question here: is the first recommendation, 1, the #1 option? I ask because the Traeger got, I think, the best feedback.

Thanks for sharing. I have the Blackstone griddle mentioned in the video. I'm a bit confused, why does discoloration make any difference? Doesn't seem to affect the flavor of anything cooked on the surface. In my opinion, it tells me that the griddle is well seasoned, and you can easily see the hot spots which helps when cooking various foods. Just curious as to why this may be an issue for some. Thanks.

Thank you for your comment! I completely agree with you about discoloration. Often, it indicates that the griddle is well-seasoned and has been put to good use. It helps to see the hot spots more easily, which can be a great advantage when cooking various foods. Some users might be concerned about it for aesthetic reasons, but from a practical standpoint, it doesn't negatively affect the griddle's performance. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
