That happened to us once when I was a kid. The next door neighbours were playing really loud music well into the wee hours. Someone put a letter through our door even though the noise was clearly coming from next door and we were a family with 2 small children. My mum opened the front door and shouted out, "Please get your facts straight before you make accusations!" A woman appeared from behind a car and spluttered out apologies. Never seen her before and since. We were one of the few black families on that road, so I can only assume that's why smh.

When I was a kid living with my mom. Our neighbor was a real dick on onesie of us. The other side was a sheriff deputy. One night I see him hop the fence walk across my yard with a bag of something, go into the shitty neighbors shed and come back out a few mins later empty baggy. It was sugar. He hated that neighbor too and put sugar in his gas can. Which the shitty neighbor was poor asf, and smooched off his elderly mom. He would use the gas for the mower in his truck......... a few weeks later he moved out. Apparently they got into a fight about who is paying the mechanic for putting sugar in the fuel supple. She had dementia and the argument happened on a good day. Then we got to deal with his sister/daughter. Much better experience. He new that would happen, as he had the sisters number and explained everything to herm she told him he won't move out. The deputy said... I can fix that. Faster than the courts.
I was living in Texas at a apartment complex one time. My job sent me to Iowa for 2 weeks and when i came back there was a letter on my door advising me of the policies of loud music. I was reported in having a party in my apartment while i was in a different state. I showed the evidence of my location but management didn't care. i was told not to worry about it
Context: My family live in a wall-to-wall housing complex (common practice in my country), and our front house neighbour only took a literal 5 steps from our house. The thing is, they complained about a loud noise from upstairs aka my room, saying I was singing too loud. My mom checked on my room and found out her daughter had already passed out of exhaustion from work. The very next day they complained again for the same reason, funnily enough when i was working the evening shift so i wasn't home. She wasn't happy with the reason i wasn't home to sing loudly enough to bother her.
OMG, I had a neighbor like that saying I bang in his door he called the cops at 2 am cops came to my door. I was asleep alone. He was not mentally okay. I went to management after his 5th time calling the cops I made a report of him. Management had installed cameras, so it was obvious I didn't bang his door. He got kicked out of the apartments. I will say I try to talk it out, but he was aggressive and insulted me. So I don't regret a thing.
I had a neighbor that would call the cops if anyone made any noise in our backyard, our backyard not his. Several times in the middle of the afternoon my sons would be playing their guitars and he called on them, it was getting old! So, the last time he called the police i took them to the back so they could hear my son’s loud music since they heard nothing from the front of the house. They played acoustic guitars so it was not loud. The cop said it didn’t matter what time of the day or night it was, anyone could call and complain and if they had to continually come out one of us was going to get a ticket. I could see the neighbor through the slates in the fence listening to our conversation and I’m sure the cops did as well. So I said, you mean I can call you if I hear his wife and small children outside playing and they said yes. I was blown away. I told him that was petty and he agreed. But this neighbor was crazy and would throw cat shit over the fence because he didn’t have cats. Neither did we. There were a lot of strays in the neighborhood, our other neighbors did the whole catch, spay/neuter, and release back into the neighborhood. They were very nice neighbors. anyways I asked the police if it was a violation to throw cat poop over the fence and they said yes definitely that we should call the health department and he would be in big trouble. He moved away immediately and sold his house.
Yall act like ur any better, u r an attention seeking kid looking to ‘stop all the kids saying first’ honey just make a normal comment and ignore the kids who say first cuz ur basically doing the same thing.
Lolol 😂 I would have loved to see that. How tf was she note grateful you did her lawn? And mad you used energy from her house to do her work only a little lol she’s a Karen for sure
Oh man, had a crazy Karen for a next-door neighbor like this. Started cause she didn’t like where we parked on the public street (trash pick up in the back alley. She didn’t want us parking an inch in front of her house unless it was the other side of the street. She had one car and I never parked where her preference for her car was, ever. Parking was tricky due to a hospice house directly across from us, could fill up the whole street). She started leaving piles of snow on my car a month after she moved in, even if I was on “our side” of the public street in a spot I shoveled out. She never shoveled the sidewalk (which you are legally required to) and thinking it would be a gesture to get her to stop her toddler tantrum, I shoveled the city sidewalk and a short path through the city owned grass to the street for her to get to her car. Within an hour they decided to go shovel for the first time ever and left a big old pile of snow on the sidewalk in front of my house. At this point idk what her beef is so ignore her. This might have also been her boyfriends doing, he helped her with a lot of the crazy stuff she did so they are both delusional. She went full Karen and later trespassed to cut down a tire swing the landlord had put up cause my exs kids would play on it (apparently she hated the sound of kids but was dating someone with 5 loud kids.) she later trespassed and started throwing stuff at our two kids and myself while they were playing in our yard and I was picking up black walnuts as the husk are poisonous to dogs and we had just gotten a puppy. I found out in court trying to get a restraining order that she was tired of hearing the kids out playing all day and notes it started at noon. She had heard walnuts being thrown at her house about that time (never mind we had wind advisories that day I believe and it’s the time of year the walnuts had been falling for over a month). The kids got home with my ex just after 5pm! I had been home alone with the puppy! What she heard were the kids outside on the opposite side of the block (or opposite side of the block one street over). Realized she was blaming us for any noise in the neighborhood. She is scary cause she attacked the youngest kid first, then the oldest, then me. They were 11 and 6. She was screaming at me so wildly and incoherently she probably should have been checked for rabies. (Mine you, at this point she has never spoken to me, and I have never done anything to her but nod or wave. The kids maybe have tried to say hi and wave and she has just watched them play in out yard or screamed at them to shut the f up or go the f away). The only time I’ve seen an adult scream like that was my abusive ex threatening to kill me. she had definitely lost her mind. Found out in court she could hear and tell the difference in sound from a walnut falling from a tree, or rolling off our roof and hitting she house vs us throwing them at her house, and she noticed the pattern to the point she should tell the court that it happened more on the weekends (jokes on her, my ex had his kids overnights during the week at that time). I was out there with the kids that day they didn’t throw shit at her house. They are well behaved (though the 6 yo was loud at times due to tubes in his ears, he lowered his voice when you reminded him) they were also terrified of her cause she’d watch them from her window within minutes of them going outside and it scared them (rightfully so). We always offered to go outside with them, cause sadly we just have to ignore her. After she attacked us they were terrified. Took them a week to go outside and even then any loud noise sent them screaming for inside. She’s a monster. She continued to set up cameras everywhere, covered our backyard, into the kids bedroom, our front yard. She knew when we left and got home and basically anything we did outside. She called the cops on us when we left for day trips. She called the cops when a homeless guy came and peed on our house (cause the homes were so close together I guess it offered good coverage I suppose, I take no offense, he’s homeless and I didn’t walk over where he urinated) and told the cops the guy was let into our home (yeah right! I was home alone I believe, and I didn’t let in an unknown homeless man. Even if I did, who cares, he peed on my house not hers). Emergency call record show that event sent her into a panic attack, must have been bad cause they asked her if she needed an ambulance for witnessing someone pee outside from her window, on her neighbors house 😂 When it snowed her and her boyfriend at at least some of his kids all peepers and threw snowballs at our house. Startled me so bad cause one hit the window I was sitting by. Went outside to see some still being thrown. So they are okay to teach the kids to follow in their crazy Karen behavior and harass neighbors that try to ignore them (minus giving her camera the finger every chance I got. Or going out to push the tired swing we reinstalled.) So much of what she screamed at us that one day or her boyfriend threatened my ex with during a handful of confrontations was really issues the landlord needed to resolve (they both knew we rented). Day after she attacked us she called our landlord, so his number was public info she could have found, and my ex had been telling them all along to talk to our landlord about their complaints of us or the property. Landlord never called her back but called us to ask if we were okay. He said he didn’t even finish listening to her message it was so long and she was clearly a Karen, he just wanted to make sure we were okay. We got a statement from him and other neighbors for court as witnesses to us not being the crazy ones or being rude loud neighbors. For some reason she had it in her head we sold drugs (A common paranoia/delusion I believe for unmedicated mentally I’ll). We had almost no visitors and only had 3 parties in that house in the 4 years we lived there.
