you press down your whole index finger on the fret! and if that's too difficult, you can always put your middle finger on top of your index for support (i'm not very good at explaining, sorry!)
the tricky little thign and you have to get a good placment for your left thumb (or right if you strum with your left hand) to both support the ukulele and not hurt your wrist to much when doing the bar cords

heyy im not the creater but i can tell you that the chords will not the same as a guitar because a guitar has 6 strings and sounds much different than a tiny uke with 4 strings. im so sorry you cant find any guitar tutorials though (its not a dumb question dw)

I got the basic chords. You just need to play C, D, F, G, Am

I mean technically you can get a similar sound from using just the four top strings if you really want to.
